Mmm Satellites...

Okay folks Homer Simpson here your friendly neighborhood nuclear safety inspector… well kinda. Turns out some company called Maxar Technologies – sounds like a brand of extra absorbent paper towels doesn't it? – took some fancy pictures from space. These pictures show Iran’s Fordo nuclear place before things went all… kablooey! They snapped these pics on Thursday and Friday. I wish they’d snapped some pictures of donuts but you can’t have everything I guess. Doh!

Underground Like My Beer Fridge?

So this Fordo place is like super secret. Buried 300 feet under a mountain! That's deeper than I bury my… uh… secrets. And reinforced with concrete too! Makes you wonder what they're hiding. Probably not Duff Beer sadly. They say it's Iran's toughest nuke spot south of Tehran. Sounds like a real fixer upper. Needs more… sprinkles!

BOOM! Did Someone Order Extra Crispy?

Apparently this Fordo place along with some others called Natanz and Isfahan (sounds like a law firm) got the 'ol U.S. air strike treatment on Saturday. President Trump – you know the guy with the… interesting hair – said it was a "spectacular military success" that "completely obliterated" everything! Obliterated! Sounds messy. Kinda like when I try to make a seven layer dip. Mmm dip…

Not So Fast Hot Shot!

Hold on there Mr. President! Turns out nobody can actually prove if all that obliterating really happened. It's like when Bart tells me he cleaned his room. Always gotta double check! The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Iran's nuclear safety folks say there's no radiation or weird goo leaking out. As of Sunday morning London time anyway. London! I hear they have great fish and chips. And maybe even… donuts?

Marge Did We Cause a Fallout?

So basically we have some pictures some bombs and a whole lotta maybes. Makes you think doesn't it? Like when I'm trying to remember if I turned off the stove after making bacon. Doh! This whole situation makes me nervous. Nervous makes me eat. I need donuts. Now! Marge! Where are the donuts?!

Nuclear... It's Pronounced 'Nukular'!

Anyway I'm gonna go check the fridge. Maybe there's a stray donut hiding in there. Or maybe Marge hid them again! Marge! Remember kids safety first! And always double check for radiation. And sprinkles. And… *drool*… donuts! Doh!
