Superpowers Clash?! More Like a Tournament!
Hey everyone it's Goku! I just read something that sounds like a big fight but not the kind where I get to punch people really hard. Apparently China and America are having a power struggle over who's best at making those robot brains what they call 'Artificial Intelligence'. But Southeast Asia is like 'Hold on I wanna join the party too!'. They wanna use the cool stuff from both sides kinda like when I learned the Kaio ken from King Kai and mixed it with my Saiyan power! It's all about getting stronger right?
Don't Pick Sides Train With Everyone!
This Julian Gorman guy from GSMA (sounds important!) said it would be bad if Southeast Asia had to pick just one team. He's right! Why choose when you can train with both? It's like being stuck choosing between fighting Vegeta or Frieza... why not both?! (Okay maybe not Frieza he's a real jerk). Gorman also wants everyone to play nice with technology so that it helps people instead of causing trouble. Sounds like something Master Roshi would say!
Open Source: Like Free Senzu Beans for Everyone!
So apparently Southeast Asia was leaning towards American AI like Google and Microsoft but then this Chinese company DeepSeek showed up with open source stuff. Think of it like giving out free Senzu Beans! Everyone can use it change it and make it their own. That George Chen guy from The Asia Group says it's popular because it's cheap. I get it even saving money is important when you gotta buy lots of food after a good fight.
Nvidia's Chips: The Dragon Balls of AI Hardware
Chen also mentioned these 'Nvidia' chips. They're like the Dragon Balls of the AI world super powerful and everyone wants them. America makes the best ones but China might catch up soon. He says Southeast Asia should be smart and get as many chips as they can while they're still available. Smart thinking! It's all about powering up!
Southeast Asia's Secret Weapon: Apps and Youngsters!
Even though America and China are ahead in making AI Southeast Asia has its own power. They have lots of cool apps and a bunch of young people. That's like having a whole army of mini Gokus ready to learn! Chen says that makes it easier to turn AI into real stuff that people can use. Plus it's cheaper to train people there kind of like training with Piccolo instead of Whis (no offense Whis!).
AI Regulation: Time to Set Some Ground Rules!
Gorman thinks Southeast Asia can be the place where everyone figures out how to use AI without causing too much trouble. It's like setting the rules for a World Martial Arts Tournament! They can even come up with the rules themselves. Chen says they need to work together so that the rest of the world listens to them. Sounds like a good plan. Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go train... and maybe eat a few Senzu Beans.
