High Five! Tech Stocks Go Up Then... Not So Much
Jagshemash! Borat here reporting live from the wild world of American stock market! Today I see technology stocks doing the cha cha. First they go up like my excitement when I see Pamela Anderson. Very nice! But then like when I try to kiss Pamela and she yells they come crashing down! The Nasdaq very strong in the morning then become like weak tea. Apple Meta Amazon Tesla... all sad trombone sounds. Only Nvidia is saying 'I am okay!' High five!
Trump Tariffs: Is Big Problem!
The big problem is Donald Trump and his tariffs. He wants to put tariffs on everything like when I wanted to put my wife Azamat in glass box on wheels. But tariffs make the market go crazy! It's like trying to milk a yak while riding a roller coaster. Very difficult! Everyone is worried about money and the market is more volatile than my sister's dating life.
Money Gone! Magnificent Seven Loses More Than My Village's Worth of Horses!
The 'Magnificent Seven' tech companies once strong like wrestlers lost much money! $1.8 trillion they say! That is more than all the horses in my village combined! The Nasdaq had worst week in five years! Very bad! People cry into their borscht.
Semiconductors: Little Guys Fight Back!
Some semiconductors like Broadcom decide to buy back shares for many dollars! $10 billion! This is like when I bought Pamela Anderson a very nice bouquet of plastic flowers from gas station. They also have the VanEck Semiconductor ETF which went up but only a little. Is like small victory but still victory! Chenqui!
Chips Off the Old Block Also Worry!
Even though chips are not directly targeted companies like AMD Qorvo Intel and Micron are worried. They think if everything costs more people will buy less chips! Is like if I put many tariffs on wife she will leave me! Very bad for business! The future is uncertain like my chances with Pamela Anderson.
The AI Stock Market: Will AI Survive the Tariff Volatility?
AI stocks are going through a lot. Is like AI is the horse and Trump's tariff policies are the rider. Will the horse throw off the rider? We must wait and see. In the meantime I will go back to Kazakhstan and find me a new wife. High five!
