Is Nice! More Machine Less Human?

Jagshemash! Borat here reporting live from the capitalist West! I have learned that the big boss of Amazon this Andy Jassy he say something very interesting. He say that with new technology like this 'AI' thing Amazon will need fewer peoples to do some jobs. Is like when I try to milk cow but now robot do it! Very nice but maybe not so nice for the milk lady eh?

Not to Worry! More Jobs Coming!

But do not worry my friends! Mr. Jassy he also say that there will be other jobs. Maybe jobs involving the computers themselves. Like fixing the robot when it try to marry the cow! He say Amazon will hire more peoples for AI robotics and other things. Is like Kazakhstan – we have many problems but also many opportunities for strong man with mustache!

Workforce Shrinking? Is Problem?

This Jassy also say that Amazon workforce might get smaller in the next few years. He call this 'efficiencies.' In Kazakhstan we call it 'making the village smaller by accident when someone drop match near sheep farm!' He say it hard to know exactly what will happen but he expect less peoples in Amazon office. Maybe they all go work in the AI mines?

Everyone Do AI Now!

Other big bosses like Mr. Salesforce and Mr. Shopify and Mr. Microsoft they all say the same! Everyone doing AI now! It like saying everyone must wear mankini to beach – very shocking but also maybe little bit exciting? Mr. Klarna also say he shrink his peoples by 40% because of this AI. Very efficient like my neighbor who use one goat to mow entire lawn!

AI Make Job More Better!

But Jassy say this AI will free peoples from the 'rote work.' He say it make jobs 'more interesting.' Maybe now instead of typing words all day you teach computer to say 'Chenqui!' to everyone. Is good thing! Less boring more inventing new services. Is like making horse and buggy faster by adding rocket engines!

Layoff! Is Also Happening!

Amazon also been doing the 'layoffs' thing. This mean they make many peoples go home! They cut more than 27,000 jobs since start of 2022. Is like when I invite whole village to party but only have enough plov for half. Awkward! Amazon shares also not doing so good unlike Mr. Meta and Mr. Microsoft and Mr. Nvidia. They are very high! Very nice!
