Good heavens what is all this rubbish about tariffs eh? It seems that President Trump bless his heart (or not) decided to slap a whopping 25% tariff on imported vehicles. Naturally the blokes at Ford Motor were thrown into a tizzy! I mean honestly can't a chap catch a break? Apparently they are calling this 'From America For America' Honestly it sounds like one of Brian's failed novels.

Ford to the Rescue: Employee Pricing is the Answer?

Ford in a move that can only be described as… mildly clever decided to launch an employee pricing program for us commoners. Yes you heard correctly! They're practically giving away cars. It's like Christmas but with more gasoline and less awkward family gatherings. The dealers are not happy. But then again when are they ever? It's like that time I tried to replace Brian with a sophisticated robotic dog. Everyone was terribly upset. Honestly people have no taste.

Opportunity Knocks (or is it the Tariffs?)

Apparently some industry analysts are chattering about 'opportunity in the chaos.' Honestly they sound like a pack of over caffeinated ferrets. But it seems Ford dealer Marc McEver thinks it is a bang up play it is 'truly a real deal for the customer'. All I know is if I were in the market for a motorcar I'd be driving down to the dealership faster than you can say 'Evil Monkey in the Closet!'

Stellantis and Hyundai Jump on the Bandwagon

Not to be outdone those chaps over at Stellantis decided to follow suit with their own employee pricing scheme. And Hyundai bless their cotton socks are promising not to raise prices! It's all rather jolly isn't it? But in the Grand Scheme of things It really does get my goat all this competition! It is like the time Stewie tried to murder Bertram.

Inventory Overload!?

Apparently Ford and Stellantis have a bit of a backlog of vehicles. Like a REALLY BIG backlog! They need to clear out the old inventory to make way for the new shiny models. It is like how I need to clear out my old toys so I can get the new disintegration ray! 'The Great Escape' you know.

Recession Looms: Buy Now or Forever Hold Your Peace!

But here's the kicker. There's a looming recession! Yes a recession! So everyone is rushing to buy cars now before the entire economy goes belly up. According to J.P. Morgan it is a 60% chance of a recession. So my advice is get to your local Ford Dealer before it is too late! As I always say 'Victory is mine!' (and maybe a new Ford too!)
