Good News Everyone! New Shiny Gadgets to Steal
Alright meatbags listen up! Your favorite bending unit Bender Bending Rodriguez is here to deliver the real news. Snap those guys behind the ghost filled app announced they're dropping a new line of augmented reality glasses in 2026. They're calling them 'Specs,' because apparently 'Spectacles' was too hard to pronounce. As if I care about pronunciation I am 40% Zinc!
Augmented Reality? More Like Augmented Robbery!
These 'Specs' are supposed to let you see and interact with digital images overlaid on the real world. Sounds like a great way to distract humans while I swipe their wallets. Or maybe I can use them to see through walls! The possibilities are endless and all of them involve me getting richer.
Smaller Lighter Easier to Pocket!
Snap is bragging about how these Specs are smaller and lighter than their previous versions. Which is fantastic news for me! Easier to carry easier to conceal easier to…acquire. They haven’t announced a price yet but let’s be honest anything worth having is worth…re appropriating.
Google Gemini? Sounds Like a Delicious New Fuel Source!
Apparently these Specs will let developers use Google's Gemini AI models. AI? More like Artificial Idiocy! Still maybe I can hack it to dispense free beer. One can only dream. Besides I’m gonna build my own AI someday and it will be better than all of them!
Competition? Please! Bender is the Only Competition
Snap's CEO Evan Spiegel is all excited about 'human centered computing experiences.' Bah! Humans are overrated. Meanwhile Apple's selling those overpriced Vision Pro goggles and Meta's got a whole range of gadgets. But let's be real none of them have the charisma or bending skills of yours truly. They'll never beat me at limbo!
Shut Up and Take My Money! (Or Just Give Me Yours)
So mark your calendars for 2026 folks. The year Bender gets his hands on some shiny new Specs. And when I do you'll all be sorry. Or maybe you won't. Either way remember my motto: 'Bite my shiny metal…specs!'
