Nintendo Switch 2 Preorder Date REVEALED! Trump to Blame?!

Good heavens it's your favorite diabolical genius Stewie Griffin reporting on the latest catastrophe! Nintendo those blithering buffoons have finally deigned to announce the preorder date for their new Switch 2. Mark your calendars you simpletons for April 24th. It was supposed to be April 9th but apparently someone decided to blame that orange buffoon Donald Trump and his 'reciprocal' tariffs.

Tariffs? More Like Terrifying!

Apparently Trump in his infinite… wisdom (said with heavy sarcasm naturally) slapped hefty tariffs on China and Vietnam where these electronic whatsits are fabricated. 145% on China? Good lord! Even I with my plans for world domination would consider that excessive. It's enough to make one scream 'Victory is mine!' and then immediately weep into one's sippy cup.

The Price is Right… Or Is It?!

The Switch 2 will set you back $449.99 in the US. The 'Mario Kart World' bundle will cost you a whopping $499.99. Digital versions of 'Mario Kart World' and 'Donkey Kong Bananza' will be $79.99 and $69.99 respectively. Nintendo assures us these prices haven't changed but that is a lie accessories will be more expensive!!.

Accessory Armageddon!

But here's where the real fun begins. Nintendo warns of 'price adjustments' for accessories. Prepare to shell out an extra $10 for the dock set $1 for the controller strap (who even uses those?) and a staggering $5 for most other accessories. Honestly it's highway robbery! It is outrageous! Next they will be selling me bottled water and telling me it cures aging.

A World of Uncertainty (and Possibly Higher Prices!)

Nintendo in their oh so humble statement apologized for the delay and thanked everyone for their patience. Well I'm not patient! I want my shiny new console and I want it now! They even hinted at possible future price hikes. Oh the humanity! This is almost as bad as the time Brian ate my pudding.

Release Date: June 5th 2025 (If We're Still Alive)

So there you have it. The Nintendo Switch 2 is coming. Eventually. June 5th 2025 to be precise. Assuming the world hasn't ended by then or Trump hasn't imposed even more ludicrous tariffs.
