Mmm Tech Stocks!

Hello everybody Homer Simpson here reporting live from my couch! This week it’s been crazier than a Krusty the Clown convention! First the market goes down faster than me when Marge says ‘No Duff!’ then BAM! It shoots up higher than Bart's hair after Milhouse gives him static electricity. Apparently these 'technology stocks' – whatever those are – are having a comeback. They're doing so well I almost understand what Marge does with her investments. Almost. Doh!

Nvidia is on Fire! (Not the Bad Kind)

Nvidia that sounds like a fancy type of pizza right? Apparently it's not. It's leading the pack with a gain of over 15%! That's like finding a donut… made of GOLD! And Amazon Alphabet Microsoft and Meta are all jumping like Kang and Kodos when they see Earth is still around to conquer. It's enough to make you say 'Woohoo!'

Tesla's Zapping the Competition!

Tesla's electric car thingies are up 3% which is apparently their best since 2013. That’s before I knew what a fidget spinner was. Even Apple my favorite fruit themed company is getting in on the action. They had their best day since… 1998! Before Y2K! I was too busy drinking Duff to notice but still good for them! I like their shiny little devices. They make good coasters.

More Companies Than I Can Shake a Stick At!

Palantir Fortinet Applovin... these names sound like characters from one of Bart's crazy stories! They're all up too! And some other companies I can't even pronounce something about semiconductors have been climbing faster than Bart up a tree after stealing my donut. Doh! Still the more the merrier I say! Especially if it means more money for donuts!

Trump's Tariff Tantrums!

Now this whole rollercoaster started because of something called 'tariffs' and some guy named Trump. Sounds like one of Mr. Burns' evil schemes! One day he pauses them and the market goes wild like Lenny after a few beers. The next day he's raising them again and everyone's crying like Maggie when I take away her pacifier. Ay caramba!

Donuts and Stocks a Perfect Pairing!

So in conclusion technology stocks are like donuts. Sometimes they're delicious sometimes they're stale and sometimes they're covered in sprinkles! But as long as they keep going up I'm a happy Homer! Now if you'll excuse me I hear the ice cream truck. D'oh!
