Doh! Drones Make Dough! AeroVironment Stock Soars Higher Than My Hairline!

Mmm Numbers... Better Than Donuts?

Alright folks Homer Simpson here reporting live from my couch! Apparently AeroVironment the company that makes those flyin' spy things – you know drones! – they made a lotta money! Like a *serious* lotta money! They were supposed to make $1.39 per share but BAM! They made $1.61! That's enough to buy a *whole* extra donut… or maybe even two!

Revenue? Sounds Like a Fancy Italian Car!

And get this their revenue – which I think is like how much money they found in the couch cushions – was $275 million! Everyone thought they'd only find $242 million. Talk about finding a twenty in your old pants! That's more than I've made in my entire life even with all those overtime shifts at the Nuclear Power Plant! D'oh!

Record Breaking Revenue? Woohoo!

They’re saying it was a record year with $820.6 million! Up 14%! That's more numbers than I can count before I need a nap and a donut. Mr. Burns must be green with envy! 'Excellent,' he probably *isn't* saying because he didn't make the money. Ha!

Net Income? Is That Like...Net Profit?

Okay so they had a net income of $16.66 million. That's like after they paid for all the drone parts and the electricity to charge 'em. Last year it was only $6.05 million. So they made even *more* money this year! I wish I could make money like that. Maybe I should start my own drone company... 'Simpson Drones: We're always watching!' Marge might not like that...

BlueHalo? Sounds Like a Video Game!

And get this: they bought another company called BlueHalo for $4.1 *billion*! Four point one BILLION! I bet they could buy a *lot* of donuts with that! Apparently it's a “defense tech company” which means it probably makes things that go boom! Maybe they’ll let me blow something up as a shareholder! Woohoo! Just gotta find out how to buy stocks...and what a stock even *is*...

Future Predictions? More Money Than God!

The fancy CEO guy Wahid Nawabi (sounds like a Star Wars character!) says buying BlueHalo makes them even better at being awesome. And next year? They think they'll make between $1.9 BILLION and $2 BILLION! Holy guacamole! That's enough money to buy every donut in Springfield… multiple times! I gotta get me some of that sweet sweet drone money. Mmm money...
