Mmm Numbers...and Doughnuts
Woohoo! Your pal Homer Simpson here ready to break down this Amazon news like a fresh box of Lard Lad doughnuts! So these brainiacs are saying Amazon made a bunch of money like a *whopping* $155.67 billion. That's enough to buy uh a million Krusty Burgers? Maybe more! But get this the stock went *down* afterward! It's like when I finally catch the ice cream truck and then I realize I left my wallet at Moe's.
Cloudy with a Chance of Mo' Money!
Turns out all that online shopping ain't the real star. It's the cloud baby! Amazon Web Services (AWS) is apparently the breadwinner like Marge is for our family. They also got this advertising thing going strong which makes sense because who *doesn't* want to see ads for Duff Beer when they're trying to buy uh power tools? And they keep making the delivery faster probably so I can get my doughnuts quicker! Doh!
Tariffs? More Like Terrifying!
These smarty pants are worried about tariffs which I think are those things you put on your car so you can drive over snow. But apparently they mess with how much stuff costs! The bigwigs at Amazon aren't too worried yet but they're keeping an eye on it. I hope it doesn't mean I have to start rationing my beer. That's unpossible!
AWS is a Triple Digit Threat!
The cloud unit had awesome growth up 17% but the company also stated that its AI cloud business is growing at a triple digit percentage. The CEO also pointed out that as fast as they put capacity in its being consumed. If that is the case I believe that we're looking at a bright outlook.
Margin Mania!
Now here's where it gets tricky like trying to understand why Lisa likes jazz. They're talking about 'margins' expanding which I think means they're getting more money for each thing they sell. That's good! More money means more doughnuts! The bad news is they predicted lower income. They expect net sales to be between $159 billion to $164 billion representing growth of 7% to 11% year over year but the income predictions are lower.
Buy Buy Buy...D'oh!
So even though things are a bit wobbly these smart investors are saying it's a good time to buy Amazon stock. They think it's gonna go up up up! Like my weight after a Krusty Burger eating contest! They're setting a target of $240. D'oh! I wish I had that much money! I'd buy the world a Duff Beer...and a doughnut of course!

Donuts, is there anything they can't do?
