Nvidia Boss Makes a Prediction Doh!
Woohoo! That brainy guy from Nvidia Jensen Huang says this whole decade is gonna be about robots driving us around! He told some fancy news people that autonomous vehicles and robots are gonna take off like a rocket... a rocket powered by... uh... donuts! I hope they're not talkin' about skynet! D'oh!
Self Driving Cars: Existential Dread or Convenient?
So these self driving cars are already cruisin' around America. Google's Waymo is doin' the robotaxi thing in places like San Francisco Phoenix and Los Angeles. I wonder if they can handle a Springfield road rage incident? 'Cause you know sometimes you just gotta honk at that Ned Flanders! Although they'd probably drive better than Otto... always blaming the dog.
China Gets in on the Robot Driving Action!
Not just 'Murica but China's got their own robotaxi fleets too. Baidu and Pony.ai are apparently givin' people rides. I bet they have special settings like 'Escape the Dragon' or 'Find the Best Dumplings.' Sounds way more exciting than driving to work at the power plant! Oh Kent Brockman!
Europe's Still Confused Probably Blaming Immigrants
Europe's takin' its sweet time with this robot car stuff. Apparently they can't figure out the rules yet. You know rules! I hate rules! It's like that time Marge made me eat broccoli! But hey at least they're thinkin' about it unlike me thinking about my next Duff. Mmm Duff....
The UK's Got a Plan So Bart Won't Have to Drive
The UK passed some law that says self driving cars are gonna be on the roads by 2026. And Uber that thing I used to take home from Moe's is workin' with some British company to test them out. Finally someone gets it! That's it! I'm never driving again! Unless it's to Krusty Burger.
Springfield or Bust...in a Robotaxi of Course!
So get ready everyone! The future is here... or at least coming soon ish. Robot cars here we come! I'm just hopin' they have a 'Donut Run' setting and maybe one that automatically avoids Sideshow Bob. D'oh I mean 'Woohoo!' Right?
