First You Get the Money Then You Get the Power...
Listen up you punks. Tony Montana's here to tell you 'bout this new ride GM's cookin' up. They call it the 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X “hypercar.” Hypercar see? Sounds like some outta space shit but it’s just a fancy name for fast. They’re takin' their old Corvette E Ray the hybrid and crankin' it up to eleven. This ain't no ordinary sled compadre.
Electrification? What's That Some Kind of Cocaine?
This thing’s got a twin turbo V 8 like the ZR1 but with some extra juice. They’re callin' it “electrification.” Sounds like some kinda science fiction bullshit but it makes this beast accelerate faster than me runnin' from the cops in Miami. Megan Dalley the Corvette marketing broad says it’s the most advanced Corvette ever. “America’s true hypercar has arrived,” she says. I’m puttin' the world on notice alright. First this car then the world!
Faster Than a Colombian Getaway
This ain't no Sunday drive machine. We talkin' top speed of 233 mph. Zero to sixty in less than two seconds. Two seconds! That’s faster than I can snort a mountain of that white stuff. The engine? A LT7 twin turbo V 8. 1,064 horsepower and 828 foot pounds of torque. That's more power than I had in my whole damn mansion I tell you. You think I was powerful? this is a true power!
All Wheel Drive? Now We're Talkin'!
They ain’t stoppin' there. They added an electric axle makin' it all wheel drive. Another 186 horsepower and 145 foot pounds of torque. Josh Holder the Corvette chief engineer says it's unbelievable. Unbelievable? You ain't seen nothin' yet pal. This is what happens when they mix the ZR1 with that E Ray thing. And it brings performance electrification and all wheel drive!
The Corvette Family: From Everyman to Tony Montana
Now they got five different Corvettes. From the Stingray which starts around $70,000 – that’s the everyman’s car like the one you drive after you make your first million. Then you got the ZR1 that can top $200,000. Now they're making money that's what it is all about making money!
Convertible or Coupe That's the Question
They ain't sayin' how much this ZR1X will cost yet but it's comin' to dealerships later this year. You can get it as a convertible or a coupe. The coupe’s got a split rear window like the old 1963 Corvette. All made in Bowling Green Kentucky. So keep your eyes peeled and your wallets ready because this ZR1X is gonna be a hot item. And remember don't get high on your own supply!
Liezz
That's more expensive than a few bricks of cocaine.
