Blast it all! Heard Trump's at it again yapping about the Fed like a drowners at a corpse. Apparently he's calling Powell 'Mr. Too Late' and a 'major loser.' Reminds me of some tavern brawls I've seen only with bigger stakes and less ale. Back in my day we settled things with swords not interest rates. But hey what do I know? I'm just a Witcher.
Dimeritium Bombs Away!
So Trump appointed this Powell fellow back in '17 and now he's regretting it like a bad contract with a Doppler. Seems the markets didn't appreciate the President's pronouncements. Stocks are down the dollar's weaker than a noonwraith in sunlight and gold's shining brighter than Yennefer's jewels. Investors are scattering like peasants fleeing a griffin. Smart move if you ask me. Always have an escape route whether it's from a monster or a monetary meltdown.
A Slowing Economy? Hmm...
Trump took to Truth Social which sounds like a potion gone wrong and wailed about 'preemptive cuts' in interest rates. He fears a 'SLOWING' economy. Honestly it sounds like when I have to chase a particularly fast Nekker. He wants Powell to lower rates 'NOW.' Patience is a virtue but I guess politicians never learned that one. Makes me wonder if he’s been hitting the White Gull a bit too hard.

Speaking of trouble Tesla shares are taking a nosedive faster than a griffin after a goat. Down 44% this year! Someone even asked Musk about 'brand damage' from his 'political activities.' Sounds like a contract for a Witcher cleaning up messes only this time it involves... politicians. I'd rather fight a Leshen.

Amazon's apparently putting the brakes on some data center deals. Wells Fargo says they've 'paused' leasing discussions. Even the biggest monsters need to rest I suppose. Though I'd rather face a pack of wolves than navigate the endless bureaucracy of a big corporation.

Heard Pope Francis kicked the bucket. Tributes pouring in like rain in Skellige. Apparently he was a reformer and popular with the progressives. Met with the U.S. Vice President right before he passed. Death comes for us all be you Witcher king or holy man. Makes you think doesn’t it? Or maybe I just need a drink.
