They shipped their first air taxi to the United Arab Emirates and are prepping for a 2026 launch. This ain't your grandpa's commute that's for sure. It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum... and I'm all outta gum. But I got plenty of room in my garage for one of these bad boys.

Groovy! Dubai's Gonna Be Fly!

The CEO JoeBen Bevirt is calling Dubai a 'launchpad for a global revolution.' Sounds like someone's been playing too much Duke Nukem! But hey I can dig it. They got a sweet deal with Dubai's Road and Transport Authority giving them exclusive air taxi rights for six years. Six years of zipping around like a goddamn superhero? Sign me up! It's gonna be a party!

They're building 'vertiports' all over Dubai including one at the freakin' Dubai International Airport. Palm Jumeirah downtown Dubai the marina... these guys are thinking big. I mean if I had a flying taxi I'd want to land it everywhere too. The babes will dig it!

Abu Dhabi's also getting a piece of the action with Joby striking deals with government departments. And hold onto your helmets 'cause some Saudi Arabian firm Abdul Latif Jameel is dropping a cool billion dollars for up to 300 of these eVTOLs. A BILLION! I gotta get me some of that action. I'd use it to buy more shades and bigger guns.
