Groovy Greenbacks: Stocks Blow Up!

Alright you primitive screwheads listen up! Duke's here to drop some knowledge bombs on the whole clean energy scene. Seems those pencil pushing politicians in the Senate almost screwed the pooch by sneaking in a tax on solar and wind projects. But hold the phone baby! They got their heads out of their asses and scrapped it. NextEra Energy? Up 5%! AES? A solid 2%! Looks like somebody's getting a bonus… and it ain't me. Though a fella can dream right?

Foreign Entities of Concern? Sounds Like a Job for Duke!

Apparently this whole tax thing was aimed at those 'foreign entities of concern,' which is basically code for China. Now I'm all for kicking alien ass but messing with clean energy? That's crossing the line! Glad to see those senators woke up and realized they were about to make a big mistake. As I always say 'Come get some!'... but not if you're taxing my solar panels.

Tax Credits: Use 'em or Lose 'em!

Okay so the good news is they axed the tax. The bad news? Those clean electricity investment and production tax credits are still getting phased out. But hey if you start building within 12 months you can still snag the full credits. After that you've got until 2027 to get your act together. Tick tock people! Time to make like Duke and kick some ass… or in this case build some solar farms!

ETF ing Awesome!

The Invesco Solar ETF (TAN) jumped 2.9% and the iShares Global Clean Energy ETF (ICLN) rose 0.8%. But First Solar took a little tumble. Gotta take the good with the bad I guess. Meanwhile Array Technologies and Nextracker are jumping for joy. Residential solar installer Sunrun and inverter manufacturers SolarEdge and Enphase had a great day. Still looks like some folks are winning and some are losing. Just like a game of poker with Duke Nukem.

Don't Get Cocky! It Ain't Over 'til Duke Says It's Over!

Now before you start popping the champagne SEIA's Abigail Ross Hopper says the improvements are limited and the bill is still harmful. ACP calls it 'a step backward.' Apparently the Senate bill is still a threat. And if it becomes law families will face higher electric bills factories will shut down Americans will lose their jobs and our electric grid will grow weaker. So clean energy is not out of the woods yet.

Duke's Final Word: Let's Keep Fighting You Primitive Screwheads!

Looks like this fight's far from over. We still need to keep those politicians in line and make sure they don't screw up our clean energy future. Remember what I always say: 'I'm here to kick ass and chew bubblegum... and I'm all outta gum.' So let's kick some political ass and make sure clean energy wins this battle. Hail to the King baby!
