So Delta was all hyped up about 2025 said it would be their 'best financial year' ever. Now? They're saying they're not updating their financial guidance. Sounds like someone's sweating bullets. They even cut their first quarter outlook. Weak corporate and leisure travel? That's what they're blaming it on. Maybe they should try pushing a little harder eh? Remind people what they're missing out on. A little incentive capiche?

The World is Yours… If You Can Afford the Ticket

This Bastian character says demand was 'quite good' in January then 'really started to slow' in February. Main cabin bookings are weak he whines. Listen nobody remembers second place! You gotta sell the dream the experience. First class that's where the real players are. That's where you find the guys with pockets deep enough to make things happen. Focus on them forget the cheap seats.

Time to Re Evaluate

So they were gonna expand flying capacity. Now? Flat year over year they say. TD Cowen whoever the hell they are are saying more airlines are gonna do the same. 'Broad economic uncertainty,' Bastian says. 'Slower growth environment.' Sounds like a bunch of excuses to me. When things get tough you don't back down you push harder. You improvise. You adapt. You overcome! That's the Montana way.

Alright alright so they made some money in the first quarter. Net income up revenue up. But that's not enough! You always want more. More power more respect more… well you get the picture. They're beating expectations but barely. That's not how you build an empire. That's how you end up working for someone else.

These analysts with their slashed earnings estimates and price targets are scared. They're cutting costs because of Trump and reduced business travelers. What a way to run a business. Maybe I should buy an airline so I can do things my way! And I know the best pilot around I mean I know him real well. Anyway don't point fingers Delta.
