Okay dolls so I woke up this morning and saw the news and I literally choked on my green juice. Like Trump wants to ARREST Gavin Newsom?! Is this some kind of bizarre reality show crossover I didn't sign up for? I mean I'm all about drama but this is a whole other level of cray. You guys know I love a good headline but this is just...wow. 'You're doing amazing sweetie!' But seriously is everyone okay?

National Guard? More Like 'National Shade'!

So apparently the tea is that Trump deployed the National Guard to California because of protests about immigration enforcement. And Newsom and the Attorney General Rob Bonta are SUING Trump. I mean can you even imagine the legal bills? My glam squad costs less! Newsom is saying Trump's 'flaming the fires' and acting illegally by federalizing the National Guard. Like whoa talk about a power move. This is giving me major 'Kim there's people that are dying' vibes but on a governmental scale.

Bonta's on Fire (But Not in a Good Way)

And then there's Attorney General Bonta who's all 'There is no invasion. There is no rebellion.' Okay honey calm down. You're giving me anxiety! He's accusing Trump of 'trying to manufacture chaos' for political gain. I mean no comment but the drama is definitely brewing. Like pass the popcorn this is getting good!

Tom Homan: Border Czar or Drama Czar?

So Trump's border czar Tom Homan apparently threatened to arrest Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass too. Trump's response? 'I would do it if I were Tom. I think it's great. Gavin likes the publicity but I think it would be a great thing.' Okay Trump you're being shady! Newsom's tweet response was 'The President of the United States just called for the arrest of a sitting Governor.' Like can you imagine Khloe getting arrested? I would die!

Unhinged? Maybe Just Unfiltered!

Newsom went on to call Trump 'unhinged.' Trump then defended himself saying he made a 'great decision' sending the National Guard and that L.A. would have been 'completely obliterated' without them. He even said Newsom and Bass should be thanking him adding 'YOU ARE SO WONDERFUL. WE WOULD BE NOTHING WITHOUT YOU SIR.' The sarcasm is so thick you could cut it with a plastic surgeon's scalpel. Sorry not sorry!

Schumer's Shade and the Elon Musk Factor

Even Chuck Schumer got in on the action accusing Trump of a 'diversion' amidst a 'war with Elon Musk' and an 'ugly tax bill.' He thinks the National Guard deployment is 'unnecessary inflammatory and provocative.' Basically everyone is fighting and I'm just trying to figure out what to wear to my next SKIMS photoshoot. Like priorities people!
