Okay dolls let's get real for a hot minute. You know I love a good mansion (or like ten) and real estate is kinda my thing right? But I saw this article talking about how mortgage demand is tanking. Like what?! Apparently all these 'interest rates' are going up and people are scared about the economy. Honestly I barely understand it but if it messes with my ability to buy more properties it's a problem.

7% Interest Rates? That's Like So Not Chic!

So the article says these interest rates for 30 year mortgages are at like 6.90%! That's higher than my last contouring bill! And apparently it's making it harder for people to buy homes. I mean come on everyone deserves a glam room and a walk in closet the size of my first apartment! This is giving me major anxiety. I need to call Kris ASAP and see what she thinks. Maybe we should start our own bank? KKW Bank! I love it!

Refinance? More Like Refi NO!

And get this: Refinancing is DOWN! Like 20% down! That's worse than my approval rating after the Pepsi commercial. People aren't refinancing their mortgages as much. I guess that means they're stuck with their current payments. I feel for them I really do. It's like being stuck with a bad outfit. Tragic!

Blame It On The Stock Market!

The article also says the stock market's recent 'plunge' is scaring people. Apparently they don't want to sell their stocks for a down payment. I get it! I mean who wants to give up potential millions? But then how are you going to afford that infinity pool and those marble countertops? It's a real Sophie's Choice situation.

Okay this is where it gets messy. Apparently some guy named Trump said something about the Fed Chair and it made the market all crazy! Like can everyone just chill? I swear politics is more dramatic than an episode of Keeping Up. All this uncertainty is making my skin break out! I need a facial stat!

Honestly I don't know. Maybe I'll just stick to buying handbags for now. At least those hold their value... sometimes. But seriously I hope things get better for everyone trying to buy a home.
