Okay dolls so I was reading this article about Beth Hammack the president of the Cleveland Fed. And like she's talking about how the Fed needs to be *patient* with tariffs and how they affect everything. Patient? Honey patience is *not* in my vocabulary. I'm all about like 'make it happen NOW!' But I guess when you're dealing with the entire *economy* you can't just contour your way out of problems. Though TBH sometimes I wish you could! She's basically saying they don't wanna rush into anything and mess things up which I respect. Don't move too quickly or you might end up in the wrong direction. Sounds like dating in LA.

So apparently President Trump's tariffs are throwing a wrench into the whole economic situation. Even Jerome Powell is stressed. It's like when North decides she wants to wear six different outfits to school. It's a *challenge*. Hammack is worried about the Fed's 'dual mandate' – keeping prices stable *and* people employed. And she's like 'OMG what if those two things are fighting each other?!' Like higher prices but fewer jobs? That's worse than finding out your dress is see through *after* you've walked the red carpet. A total fashion emergency!

The article says everyone *thinks* the Fed is gonna chill on interest rates for a bit then start cutting them again in June. Like everyone's expecting three or four cuts by the end of the year. But Hammack's like 'Hold up let's see some *real* data first.' It's giving me serious 'waiting for the Met Gala pics to drop' vibes. You gotta see the evidence before you commit! She said if the data's convincing by June then they'll make a move. I am all about making moves! Big mood.

Okay so the markets are freaking out. Stocks are struggling Treasury yields are rising and the dollar's like totally losing its glow up. It's like when you post a pic and it only gets 5 likes. It's like when people tell you your outfit is 'interesting.' Honey just say you hate it! She says businesses are putting pauses on investing and hiring because they're unsure about the future. And then she's like 'I wish I had a crystal ball!' SAME girl SAME. Although I have access to some pretty amazing psychics who tell me all sorts of things. LOL!
