You know me I'm all about that business and let me tell you negotiation is an art form. It's about knowing your worth honey and sometimes that means a little *drama*.

So Karoline Leavitt at the White House is saying Canada 'caved.' She even mentioned Prime Minister 'Mark' Carney calling Trump to say they were dropping the tax! I mean the shade! It's giving me major 'I didn't say you couldn't have any more' vibes. But honestly sometimes you gotta make sacrifices to get the bigger picture. Like when I have to choose between a Birkin and a private jet...it's always the jet BTW. Priorities!

Kevin Hassett's Tax Talk: More Confusing Than a Skims Size Chart

Then there's Kevin Hassett Trump's economic dude. He's saying he expects *more* countries to drop their digital taxes. It's all about trade trade trade! Honestly it sounds like a lot of business jargon but basically America wants everyone to play by their rules. Kinda like how I want everyone to wear Skims...for their own good of course.

Apparently Canada reversed the tax thingy which is great but it seems like Trump’s threatening to slap everyone with tariffs! Oh honey. Hassett is even talking about the 'wrath' of someone named 'Jameson Greer!' This is getting messier than my closet after a photoshoot. Can we just go back to talking about contouring and lip kits?

July 8th and 9th: The Days the Tariffs Dropped...Or Not?

So these tariffs are supposed to restart super soon. Hassett seems confident they'll agree to deals after some budget thing goes through Congress. He thinks there will be a 'marathon session' in the Oval Office...Sounds exhausting but I am sure they have the best snacks. But Trump is all like 'We can do whatever we want!' Which TBH is kind of his catchphrase at this point. But will he stick to the dates? Who knows! This is more unpredictable than one of Kanye’s Twitter rants.

Look I don’t understand half this political jargon. But one thing I *do* know is that when you're negotiating you have to know your brand and your worth. And let's be real America has a pretty strong brand even if they are doing a lot. So whether Canada 'caved' or not I'm sure everyone will find a way to make a deal. Because at the end of the day business is business and everyone wants a piece of the pie…preferably a slice from my personal chef because that’s just how I roll.
