So the news is out and it's juicier than a double cheeseburger from McDonald's. John Laurinaitis aka Johnny Ace aka the guy who probably booked himself to win a championship at some point has decided to cooperate with Janel Grant. Yeah you heard that right. He's turning on Vince like a politician on election night!

Snitches Get Stitches... Or Settlements?

Laurinaitis this man ladies and gentlemen has also reached a *confidential* settlement with Grant. 'Confidential,' meaning we'll probably never know the real dirt but you KNOW it had to be spicy if he's throwing money at the problem. The lawsuit against him is being dropped but with prejudice meaning they can't bring it back. Seems like Johnny Ace is playing the uno reverse card on Vince.

Accountability? In MY Wrestling?

According to the statement this is a 'pivotal next step toward holding McMahon and WWE accountable.' Accountability in wrestling? I'll believe it when I see it chat. I've seen more believable storylines on Monday Night Raw. But hey maybe this is it. Maybe this is the reckoning we've all been waiting for. Or maybe it's just another swerve. Knowing Vince probably the latter.

Vince's Defense: "Lies Obscene Made Up Instances!"

Remember when Vince's spokesman was all like 'This lawsuit is full of lies and made up stuff!'? Classic Vince. Deny deny deny! It's like when I tell my viewers I'm going to start working out. We all know it's BS. But now with Laurinaitis singing those 'lies' might start sounding a little more like the truth. Oof.

Resignations Settlements and SEC Scandals Oh My!

Let's not forget Vince already resigned from TKO and had to pay a cool $400,000 for SEC violations. Plus he had to reimburse WWE $1.3 million. My guy is just allergic to telling the truth isn't he? At this rate he will be paying the cost of his sins which I'm all here for.

Oh and just for good measure Linda McMahon is still the Secretary of the U.S. Education Department under Donald Trump. Talk about burying the lead! This whole thing is a Shakespearean tragedy mixed with a really bad wrestling angle. What a world we live in huh?
