Another Day Another Dollar... For Someone Else

Alright chat listen up. So Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent – never heard of him probably some dude in a suit who unironically uses the word 'synergy' – laid out Trump's 'America First' vision to a bunch of global investors. And you know what that vision sounds like? A freakin' loot piñata for the top 1%. He's out there saying they've 'uprooted government waste' – which let's be real probably means cutting funding for schools and hospitals – 'planted seeds of private investment,' and 'fertilized the ground with fresh tax legislation.' What does that even MEAN!?

Harvest Time But Who's Reaping?

This Bessent guy went on to say 'Next we harvest. And we want you to harvest with us.' You hear that chat? 'Harvest WITH us.' Not 'harvest FOR us,' not 'harvest TO benefit everyone.' WITH them. As in the ultra wealthy. It's like inviting your rich uncle to your birthday party and then complaining when he eats all the cake TWICE. He's basically telling these private jet setting elites 'Hey come get your piece of the pie. And by pie I mean the entire economy.'

The Holy Trinity of Trump Economics: Tariffs Tax Cuts and... More Tax Cuts?

Apparently Trump's economic agenda boils down to three things: tariffs tax cuts and deregulation. We've heard it all before. Tariffs sound good in theory – 'Bring the jobs back!' – but usually end up just raising prices on everything we buy. Tax cuts? Well we know who those REALLY benefit. Deregulation? Probably just means corporations can pollute more and pay workers less. It's a trifecta of 'screw the average Joe,' if you ask me.

Deals Deals Deals! (Maybe)

Now Bessent claims the U.S. is 'very close to some deals,' maybe even 'as early as this week.' This reminds me of Blizzard promising Classic WoW 'soon' for 10 years. We've heard this song and dance before. Trump says he's 'made 200 deals,' Navarro says they'll strike '90 deals in 90 days.' And yet here we are still waiting for these magical deals to materialize. I bet it's like the pre patch. It will come when it comes.

India On Deck? (Or Just Another Empty Promise?)

The administration is hinting at a deal with India. Fine. But color me skeptical. Remember when everyone thought WoW was dying? Everyone was on copium for so long and you know what they were proven right! The game will be fine but it is NOT in its prime which is what everyone was fighting for. This is just another example of a government telling you that something is one way when it isn't. The game is not as popular as it was but it is still fine. This is just another classic PR spin.

Is This Azeroth Ours?

So the question is chat: Whose Azeroth is this anyway? Is it ours the players grinding away every day or is it just a playground for the whales? Are we just the NPCs in their grand economic game? I don't know but I'm starting to think we need a freakin' raid boss to take down the system.
