Okay so like I was just minding my own business probably contouring when I heard the news. Google Cloud had a major 'oops' moment. Apparently everything from AI services to like important business stuff went totally haywire. It’s giving me major 'my diamond earring fell in the ocean' vibes but on a global scale! They said it started at 10:51 a.m. PT and their engineers were on it but still… Talk about a digital disaster!

My Apps! My Emojis! Are They Gone Forever?

Seriously this is impacting EVERYTHING. Shopify OpenAI (aka ChatGPT which I use to like brainstorm caption ideas) even GitHub and Mailchimp! Like can you even IMAGINE if I couldn't post my next thirst trap because of a Google Cloud issue? That's a nightmare worse than finding out someone else wore the same dress as me... and looked better. Okay maybe not *that* bad but still... scary!

Google vs. Everyone Else: A Cloud Off?

So apparently Google's trying to keep up with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure in the cloud game. It’s like trying to keep up with my family’s level of fame – nearly impossible. Good luck with that Google! But also please fix the problem before I lose all my selfies. Priorities people!

Cutting Costs? More Like Cutting Corners?

I heard Alphabet Google's parent company has been doing some major cost cutting like layoffs and stuff. Is that why the cloud went down? Are they skimping on the servers to save a few bucks? Kris Jenner would NEVER let something like that happen. You gotta spend money to make money people! That’s like business 101.

The Search for "Firebase" and the Meaning of Life

Even Google Trends showed a spike in people searching for "Firebase." I had to ask North what that was. LOL. Something about building apps. Honestly I just want to make sure my apps keep working especially the one that airbrushes my photos to perfection. That’s the only Firebase I care about.
