Alright alright settle down Champions Club. We gotta talk about some REAL SHIT. I'm seeing headlines about proposed cuts to the SNAP program formerly known as food stamps. Seriously? Are they trying to make us all live off ramen and sadness? Listen I'm all for fiscal responsibility but cutting food assistance? That's just...it's malding me! We're talking about potentially screwing over millions of low income Americans especially in this economy? The FUCK?

$230 Billion Gone?! That's a Lotta Blizzard Burgers!

So apparently the House Republicans wanna slash $230 BILLION from the USDA budget over the next decade to pay for tax cuts. Tax cuts you say? For who? For the people who already have enough gold to swim in like Scrooge McDuck? Meanwhile the Senate version is trying to be a little less awful but still aiming for at least a billion in cuts. Most of it coming straight from the SNAP program. This is like taking away someone's legendary weapon and giving them a rusty dagger! Its Unacceptable!

It's Just 'Supplemental' They Say? Bullshit!

Oh and get this the USDA is trying to spin it like SNAP is just 'supplemental' and not supposed to be a 'windfall' for food companies. Right because poor people are out here living like kings and queens on their food stamps! It's a 'temporary safety net?' Tell that to the families who rely on it every single damn month! This ain't about yachts and caviar it's about putting food on the damn table! I'm not going to stand for it and neither should you!

Walmart's Gonna Feel It Too!

Alright so the article talks about how this could hit major retailers like Walmart and Kroger. You know the places where people are already struggling to afford groceries? Dollar General's CEO even said their customers are reporting their financial situation has worsened because of inflation. No shit Sherlock! And now they wanna make it even HARDER? This is some next level corporate greed right here.

No More Soda?! The Tyranny!

And if that wasn't enough some states are trying to ban using SNAP benefits to buy soda candy and other 'junk food.' Okay I get it health is important. But let's be real when you're struggling to survive a sugary drink can be the only damn joy you get all day! Are they going to start policing what kind of toothpaste we buy next? Like the government is somehow responsible for my personal choices? No! It is my choice!

What Can We Do? Get MAD!

Look I'm not a politician or anything but this whole situation is just enraging. We need to make our voices heard! Call your representatives complain online DO SOMETHING! Don't let them get away with this. We need to protect the people who need it most. Otherwise we're all gonna end up living in cardboard boxes eating expired chicken nuggets and watching the world burn. And nobody wants that! Lets Gooooo!
