A man pardoned by Trump for drug dealing and predatory lending is back in jail after a series of violent arrests. Seems like some monsters don't stay buried.

A Favor Repaid... With Chaos?

Hmph. Another day another mess. Heard about this bloke Jonathan Braun. Trump gave him a get out of jail free card back in '21 for drug dealing and ripping people off with loans. Said he was a changed man. Now? He's back in the clink after going full Noonwraith on everyone. Assaulting folk groping nannies... sounds like a delightful fellow. Makes you wonder if some monsters are better left in their cages. Winds howling...

From Marijuana to Mayhem!

So this Braun character was dealing in the green stuff and laundering the coin got five years in the slammer. Then Trump in his infinite wisdom decides 'Let's give this fine upstanding citizen another chance!' What followed? A bloody circus! Assaults groping even terrorizing health care workers with an IV pole! By the White Flame some people just can't help themselves. Like a Ghoul to a graveyard they're drawn to trouble.

Kushner's Helping Hand?

Ah politics. Always a tangled web. Apparently Braun's family had connections to Kushner's clan and that greased the wheels for the pardon. Makes you think doesn't it? Who you know seems to matter more than what you've done. Cooperation deal thwarted justice delayed... smells like another conspiracy brewing in the taverns. It's enough to make a Witcher reach for the White Gull.

Judge Judy Hold my Beer!

This Judge Matsumoto she's got a spine. Slapped Braun back in jail calling him a danger and a flight risk. No arguments from this Witcher. "The behavior is erratic," she says. "There's the potential someone could really get hurt." Smart woman. Knows a monster when she sees one. Maybe she should join the Path. She will know how to deal with them I hope.

White House Spin Cycle!

The White House is trying to do some damage control babbling about the "First Step Act" and Alice Johnson their "Pardon Czar"? They always try to sugarcoat the truth. "There is always a risk in granting pardons," they whine. True but maybe just maybe do a bit of research before letting a monster out of its cage? Just a thought. Some people never change no matter how many chances they get.

A Witcher's Verdict

Braun is back in court facing more time. Honestly? Good riddance. He's proven he's a danger to himself and everyone around him. This wasn't just a mistake; it was a pattern of violence and disregard for the law. Sometimes the only way to deal with a monster is to lock it away. Hope this time they throw away the bloody key. Now where's my Roach? Time to find a contract that actually pays...
