Oh wait they do the TV ratings and stuff. Anyway they're saying Asian Americans are watching more sports. A LOT more. Like 15% more than the average Joe. Listen up chat this ain't just some random Tuesday. This is a seismic shift baby! They're watching more sports than YOU are probably and you are out here BALD.

Streaming is King and the AANHPI Audience is the Royal Family

And of course it's all about streaming now isn't it? Traditional TV is dying faster than my hairline. These AANHPI folks are leading the charge ditching cable faster than I ditch my responsibilities. They're on YouTube Netflix Amazon – soaking it all up. This is what I've been saying all along chat! Adapt or die! I still watch some TV only because it's better to watch the news there otherwise who cares? And they are consuming 53% of total TV time holy!

So what does this all mean? Advertisers are drooling that's what. They're seeing dollar signs realizing they need to actually *gasp* understand and cater to this audience. As Stacie de Armas (whoever that is) says it's all about 'cultural connection.' But let's be real it's about making money. They want that sweet sweet AANHPI cash. They know they have the money so yeah makes sense. Either way good for them.

Okay this is where I draw the line. Sports podcasts? Really? People are *listening* to sports now? What happened to actually WATCHING the game? Maybe I should start a podcast... Nah too much effort.
