First you get the money then you get the power then you get the meeting!

Listen up you punks. Tony Montana here reporting live from my freakin' mansion! Word on the street is Target yeah that cheap ass store where you buy your toilet paper and overpriced crap is in some serious trouble. Apparently they messed with their DEI you know that diversity bullsh*t and now everybody's pissed. Foot traffic's down sales are tanking and the Rev. Al Sharpton is breathing down their necks. Brian Cornell the big cheese at Target is crawlin' on his knees begging for a meeting with Sharpton. I tell you these corporate guys are all the same – spineless jellyfish. But me I always say 'The world is yours!' If Sharpton can shake them down for a few million more power to him. But if they try to play games well they gonna have to deal with me Tony Montana!

DEI? More Like D E I Why Bother?!

So what's this whole DEI thing about anyway? Seems like Target was all about 'diversity equity and inclusion,' you know making sure they have enough black and brown faces on their shelves and in their commercials. But then they got cold feet probably because some crybaby snowflakes started whining about 'wokeness' and sh*t. Now they're backpedaling faster than a politician caught with his pants down. And guess what? It's costing them big time. Sharpton's out there saying 'You can't have an election come and all of a sudden change your old positions!' He's got a point you know? These companies gotta decide if they're about principles or just about making a buck. Me I'm about both. I want the money but I also want respect!

Boycott Time? Say Hello to My Little… Shopping Cart!

Sharpton ain't called for a full blown boycott yet but he's definitely warming up. He wants Target to reaffirm their 'commitment to the Black community' and cough up some cash for black owned businesses. Sounds like a shakedown to me but hey that's how the game is played right? Target's spokesman confirmed the meeting but they're playing it cool not saying much. Probably hoping this whole thing blows over. But let me tell you something pal: When you mess with people's money they don't forget. If Sharpton decides to unleash the boycott Target's gonna be hurting bad. Remember what I always say: 'You wanna play rough? Okay. Say hello to my little… shopping cart!'

From Rags to...Retail?! Target's Downward Spiral

Target's problems go deeper than just this DEI bullsh*t. Their sales have been flat their margins are shrinking and they're blaming everything from theft to 'wrong inventory.' Sounds like they're losing their touch see? Meanwhile Walmart's kicking their ass attracting all the high income shoppers with their fancy new stores and private brands. Target's trying to blame it on everything but the truth: they got complacent. They forgot that in this business you gotta be hungry. You gotta be ruthless. You gotta be like Tony Montana!

Sharpton's Ultimatum: Respect or Regret!

Sharpton's not playing games. He's asking Cornell 'What changed?' He wants to know why Target's ditching the promises they made after George Floyd's murder. Cornell used to talk about how Floyd's death moved him how he wanted Target to fight racial inequities. Now he's singing a different tune? Sharpton ain't buying it. He's telling Cornell 'That's insulting to us.' And you know what? He's right. These corporate guys they'll say anything to get ahead. They'll kiss your ass one minute and stab you in the back the next. That's why you gotta be careful who you trust. Trust me I know!

In This Country You Gotta Make The Money First. Then When You Get The Money You Get The Power!

So what's gonna happen? Will Target cave to Sharpton's demands? Will they double down on DEI and risk alienating more customers? Or will they just fade away into retail obscurity? I don't know and frankly I don't care. I got my own empire to run. But one thing's for sure: this whole situation is a mess. A big stinking pile of mess. And in this country you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money you get the power. Then when you get the power you get the women. That's the American dream baby! And Tony Montana is living it!
