Bah! That pesky Governor Newsom is at it again attempting to thwart President Trump's deployment of National Guard members and Marines to Los Angeles. He's squealing to some federal judge claiming 'irreparable harm' and 'state sovereignty.' As if I Montgomery Burns care about such trivialities! It seems Newsom wants a temporary restraining order by 1 p.m. PT! Preposterous. He dares to think this codswallop will prevent me from acquiring more priceless artifacts for my collection! It's like Smithers trying to advise me on nuclear safety – utterly futile!

Trump's Tact: A Brilliant Stroke

Trump that orange buffoon authorized a measly 4,000 National Guard troops and a paltry 700 Marines. Pathetic! Still it's a start. Newsom calls it 'unprecedented' and claims Trump is behaving like a 'tyrant.' Excellent! A tyrant who protects MY interests thank you very much! He's suing Trump that nincompoop Pete Hegseth and the Pentagon! Oh the drama! I feel like I'm watching a scene from that dreadful show Smithers enjoys so much 'Downton Abbey,' except with more… incompetence.

Riots? Mere Child's Play!

Newsom argues that the recent unrest 'pales in comparison' to the 1992 riots. Pshaw! Those were mere child's play compared to the chaos I could unleash if I weren't so preoccupied with maintaining my youthful vigor (thanks to Smithers' dubious concoctions). Apparently some of these protesters are engaged in 'nonviolent activity protected by the First Amendment.' The First Amendment! A nuisance I say! Newsom conveniently glosses over the fact that some of these hooligans are throwing things and setting fires. They must be put in the Iron House!

Trump defended his decision claiming Los Angeles would be 'burning' without his intervention. 'Excellent!' as I always say when things are going my way. He's right of course. Without a firm hand the proles will run amok disrupting the delicate balance of power that keeps me at the top.

So Newsom can whine and sue all he wants. Trump's troops are on the ground ensuring that my… I mean the city's assets are protected. And that my friends is all that matters.
