X Marks the Spot... of Annoyance!

Blast it all! I just read that X formerly known as that infernal Twitter (before Musk bless his greedy little heart got his hands on it) has gotten a what for from the Indian government. Apparently they ordered the blocking of over two thousand accounts including Reuters! Reuters! The very notion! Are they trying to put me out of the news business too? I shall have Smithers look into purchasing Reuters at once.

One Hour? Preposterous!

Can you imagine? Demanding immediate action 'within one hour' no less and 'without justification'! Why that's practically daylight robbery! Back in my day you could bribe a politician with a handshake and a wink and get a week to bury the evidence. These youngsters have no sense of proper procedure. They should take lessons from my old friend Senator Snuggles.

Reuters Restored... Temporarily!

The report says the accounts were restored. Restored! What is the world coming to? These darn countries are treating these companies like doormats! I should just buy the entire internet myself and have it cater only to my interests. No more news about labor disputes or environmental regulations or that dreadful Simpsons family.

Musk a Free Speech 'Absolutist'? Balderdash!

Musk fancies himself a 'free speech absolutist,' does he? Bah! The only absolute is my power and the only speech that matters is the speech that makes me richer! Still I suppose I should thank him for taking on this fight with the Indian government. Every little bit helps keep the rabble in their place and my fortunes secure. Release the robotic Richard Nixon!

Suing Governments? The Nerve!

X is suing the Indian government! Now that's what I call chutzpah! Suing a government? In my day you bought them! This newfangled approach... it's all so… public! Still perhaps I should add 'government litigation' to my portfolio. Smithers look into the profitability of suing small nations. Start with Lichtenstein.

Excellent... For Me Anyway!

This whole situation is rather delicious. A powerful company clashing with a powerful government. It's like watching two walruses fight over a clam! And who knows perhaps this 'censorship battle' will drive down the price of X stock. Time to start buying! Excellent...
