Like OMG It's Buffett Time!

Okay dolls so like everyone's freaking out about Warren Buffett's annual shareholder meeting this weekend. It's like the Coachella of capitalism obvi. They call it 'Woodstock for Capitalists,' which LOL is kinda cute. Seriously though all these like finance people descend on Omaha Nebraska which is like not exactly Calabasas. But hey even I'm kinda curious what the Oracle of Omaha has to say you know? Like is the economy still a vibe or are we heading for a recession? Inquiring minds want to know! It's the 60th anniversary of him leading the company! Can you believe it?!

Tariff Drama: Is This Shade?

So apparently there's all this drama with tariffs thanks to um *certain people*. Everyone's waiting to see if Warren's gonna like call them out or something. He's usually pretty chill but even I get stressed when the markets are all over the place you know? It's like don't be tardy to the party Warren! Spill the tea! Steve Check (founder of Check Capital Management) said it best: "I hope more than anything that he speaks out against the way tariffs have been done. Everyone is looking for what Warren Buffett has to say."

Cash Money and a Whole Lotta Savings

Okay so get this: Berkshire's been selling more stocks than they've been buying for like nine quarters straight. NINE! That's like a lifetime in Kardashian years. They've dumped over $134 billion worth in 2024 reducing their holdings of like Apple and Bank of America. As a result of the selling spree by December Berkshire's enormous pile of cash had grown to yet another record at $334.2 billion. Which means they're sitting on a mountain of cash waiting for the perfect moment to like pounce. Warren honey you better be strategic! David Wagner said the most intelligent thing: "I think the big question on everyone's mind is what will Warren do with the pile of cash that they are sitting on and more specifically when can it be deployed as he can help investors gauge when the all clear sign is lit.".

Apple solutely Confused

And speaking of Apple what's the deal with that? He's been selling off his stake and everyone's like WTF? Last year he said it was for tax reasons but like is that the whole story? I mean maybe he just doesn't want to be like funding that US fiscal deficit you know? I'm kidding... kinda. Still it will be interesting to hear his reasoning today! David Kass said: "You can't use that explanation anymore because it clearly does not apply. If he sold more it would indicate that he probably felt it was fully valued or Warren Buffett being the genius that he is he was able to see ahead at some of the risks that could face Apple in case there's a trade war and tariffs." I wish I was as rich as Warren!

9 AM ET: Get Your Popcorn Ready

The whole thing kicks off Saturday at 9 AM ET. Buffett's gonna give some opening remarks then it's Q&A time. His successor Greg Abel and some insurance guy named Ajit Jain will be there too. It's being broadcast on CNBC so you can watch it while you're doing your makeup or like picking out your outfit. I'll probably be busy but you know I'll catch the highlights later. After all it's important to stay informed. Even if like I don't always *sound* like I am! You know I am all about keeping it real with my fans!

Like Totally Serious (Maybe)

Okay so even though I'm joking around this stuff is actually pretty important. The economy affects everyone even us Kardashians. So pay attention stay informed and maybe just maybe we can all avoid a recession. And if not well at least we'll have great selfies to document the apocalypse. Just sayin'! It's my brand!
