Wait Fannie Mae and Palantir? Spill the Tea!
Okay dolls so I just heard the craziest news. Fannie Mae like the super important mortgage people are partnering with Palantir. Yes the same Palantir that's all about super high tech stuff. Apparently they're going to use AI to catch mortgage fraud. Like can you even imagine?! It's giving major 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' meets 'Mission: Impossible' vibes. As Priscilla Almodovar Fannie Mae CEO said the goal is to "identify fraud more proactively." This is huge!
Two Months to Seconds? Kim K. Time is Money Honey!
So here's the tea: Apparently Palantir's AI can do in *seconds* what it takes humans *two months* to figure out. Two. Months. Seriously? My glam team can't even take that long to get me ready for a red carpet and that's saying something! I mean time is money honey and nobody got time for fraud taking that long to uncover. It's a total game changer. Also Palantir's stock has jumped more than 140% since President Donald Trump's election win in November. They're the future and the future is NOW!
Is Freddie Mac Next? This is Getting Serious!
And guess what? William Pulte the director of the Federal Housing Financing Agency is thinking about expanding this to Freddie Mac! Plus they're chatting with Elon Musk's xAI. Like can you even imagine the possibilities? 'The sky's the limit,' Pulte said. If there are ways to pull cost out of the system we want to do it." We're talking about Elon Musk AI and mortgages. It's all so futuristic and… honestly a little scary. But in a good way obvi.
Trump's Two Cents: Making Fannie and Freddie Great Again!
Okay so Donald Trump jumped into the chat with a Truth Social post saying he's thinking about taking Fannie and Freddie public. "I am working on TAKING THESE AMAZING COMPANIES PUBLIC but I want to be clear the U.S. Government will keep its implicit GUARANTEES." He's basically saying he wants to make them great again. Whatever that means! *Eye roll*. The drama is real people! But I always say never underestimate a man with a vision. Even if that vision involves a few... interesting... tweets.
Money Money Money: Who's Getting Paid?!
Of course the big question is... how much is Fannie Mae paying Palantir? The article doesn't say. But you know what they say if you have to ask you can't afford it! This whole thing feels like something out of a movie. A movie where I obviously play the brilliant businesswoman who understands it all perfectly while wearing a fabulous outfit.
My Final Thoughts: Get That Mortgage But Make it Fashion!
So what does all this mean? Honestly I'm not entirely sure. But it sounds like they are trying to do all of this to make it easier for people to own homes. At least they are making it hard for fraudulent people to do so. It also means the world is changing and AI is taking over. But you know what? As long as I can still contour my face perfectly and take flawless selfies I'm good. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go research the best mortgage rates... in style of course. XOXO!
