Buffett's Doing What Now?
Alright alright settle down you beautiful baldies! Asmongold here reporting live from my mom's basement... I mean uh my sophisticated investment headquarters. So everyone's been crying about the market this year right? Saying it's doom and gloom the end is nigh you know the usual. But guess who's laughing all the way to the bank? That's right Warren Buffett and his Berkshire Hathaway empire! They're up 17% this year while the S&P 500 is down 6%? Are you kidding me? It's like watching a bunch of level 1 noobs try to fight a raid boss. Get rekt!
New ETF? Is this Gimmick?
And get this some fancy pants company called VistaShares launched a new ETF (OMAH) that's basically a Buffett fan club. It's got all his favorite stocks in it – Apple American Express Kroger and of course Coca Cola because you know gotta stay hydrated while you're making money. I mean it's like they took Buffett's portfolio and turned it into a loot box except instead of getting a grey item you get tendies.
The Oracle Still Got It
This isn't just a flash in the pan either folks. Berkshire has TRIPLE the performance of the market over the past year and more than DOUBLE in the last five years! Buffett's been playing the long game like a true hardcore gamer. He's not chasing the meta he IS the meta. You think you do but you don't.
Cash Money
And what's Buffett been doing with all that sweet sweet cash? Sitting on a mountain of it that's what! He trimmed his stakes in some big names including Apple which in hindsight was a galaxy brain move! He saw the volatility coming like he had a crystal ball or something. Maybe he's just got good instincts... or maybe he's a lizard person. I'm not saying it's the lizard people but it's the lizard people.
Dividends for the Masses
Now here's the kicker. Buffett's famous for NOT paying dividends. He thinks he can reinvest the money and make even MORE money for shareholders. Which is great and all but some people just want that sweet sweet monthly income. That's where the VistaShares ETF comes in. They're promising a 15% annual income by selling call options. It's like getting paid to let someone else play your game... genius!
Is this Worth the Hype?
So is this ETF the real deal? I don't know I'm not a financial advisor I just play one on the internet. But if you're looking to invest like Buffett and get some income while you're at it it might be worth checking out. Just remember don't go full Pepe Silvia on me and throw all your money at it. Diversify be smart and remember…content.
