European wind power firms breathe a sigh of relief as Trump's bill softens the blow to renewable energy, but the fight for clean energy continues!

Groovy News or Is It?

Alright you primitive screwheads listen up! Seems like that Trump dude's got himself a 'big beautiful bill,' and those Euro investors are all hot and bothered about what it means for wind power. Shares are up baby! Vestas Orsted Nordex – they're all cashing in like I cash in on alien babes. But don't get too excited it's not all sunshine and roses. 'Come get some!' of this renewable energy but it could get bumpy.

Foreign Entities? More Like Foreign Enemies!

One of the biggest changes is getting rid of a tax on wind and solar projects that use parts from 'foreign entities of concern' – and you know who they're talking about: China. Those commie bastards! If that tax had stayed it would've been like kicking a puppy… a really annoying eco friendly puppy. 'My money's on the puppy!' This is good news for the industry but I'm still watching those Chinese like a hawk. Nobody steals MY green energy market!

No More Cliffhangers!

Remember that deadline that said all projects had to be up and running by the end of 2027 to get tax credits? Gone! Now if you start before mid 2026 you're golden. Just gotta spend 5% of your capital to get things rolling. Analysts are saying this is gonna cause a whole lotta action and fast. Time to load up on those turbine stocks baby! It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum and I'm all outta gum. But I'm definitely NOT all outta cash.

Worst Case Scenario Averted? Don't Bet On It!

Some fancy pants analyst from Morningstar thinks the worst case scenario for renewables under Trump might not happen. Maybe. But I'm not holding my breath. The U.S. market is huge for those European companies like RWE EDPR and Iberdrola. But if things go south those manufacturers like Vestas and Siemens Energy could be in deep doo doo. 'Damn I'm good!'

Dismantling the Dream?

Another brainiac from AlphaValue says Trump's bill 'largely dismantles the core mechanisms supporting clean energy' from Biden's Inflation Reduction Act. Instead of building on what's already there they're just making things harder. The biggest hit is to America's efforts to upgrade its grid and become a leader in clean energy. Now that pisses me off. Nobody messes with my chance to save the planet AND look good doing it!

Europe's Got a Plan B (and C and D...)!

Apparently those Europeans have been expecting this kind of crap from the US. They've already lowered their expectations for American renewables. The main risk now is that projects already under construction might get canned. But hey at least those European utilities have options. They can move their money around to different technologies and countries. Smart move fellas. 'Nobody steals our freedom!'
