But check this out this Diane Hoskins dame she was playing with Legos and bossing around her brother's racecar sets. 'Whatever it was...I just love putting things together and building things,' she says. Sounds like my kind of gal. Always building always improving always ready to kick ass and chew bubblegum... and I'm all outta gum.

Dream Job? More Like a Nightmare!

So this Hoskins broad gets her 'dream job' after MIT working for some 'genius' architect. Turns out this 'genius' was more like a giant pain in the ass. 'All about that person and what they wanted and not about the ideas of anyone else on the team,' she whines. I feel ya sister! I hate bosses who hog all the glory. 'I don't want to do this. I won't live my career as the support cast of someone else's vision,' she said. Time to nuke 'em from orbit it's the only way to be sure!

From MIT to Marshall Field's: A Perfume Scented Pit Stop

Now here's where it gets interesting. Hoskins bails on her 'dream job' and ends up slinging perfume at Marshall Field's. Perfume? Really? I prefer the smell of burning alien flesh myself. But hey she says it made her feel 'extraordinarily independent and satisfied.' Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do even if it means smelling like a French whorehouse for a while. 'Come get some!'...of this amazing fragrance!

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: The Gensler Way

Turns out a former classmate found Hoskins and that's when she stumbled into Gensler a firm that believes in teamwork and collaboration. No 'architecture ego' at the top of the pyramid Hoskins says. 'We believe strongly in collaborative leadership.' Sounds almost...communist. But hey if it works it works. Maybe those aliens should try being a little more collaborative. Then again maybe not. I like blowing them away too much.

MBA? More Like 'Most Badass Acronym'!

This Hoskins dame isn't just about architecture; she wants to understand the business side of things too. So she gets an MBA. 'I left the profession again,' she says. 'I had the courage to follow an inner path rather than expectations.' I admire her guts. Sometimes you gotta take a detour to become even more awesome. As I always say 'My way or the highway!'...and I ain't building any freakin' highways!

Innovation: The Duke Nukem of Business

Hoskins says every business needs to be about innovation. 'Business can't run on yesterday's premise,' she says. 'Innovation is the thread in every single business enterprise today.' Preach it sister! If you're not innovating you're stagnating. And stagnation is for losers. That's why I'm always upgrading my weapons my one liners and my babes. Time to kill!
