Show Me the Money!

Alright folks Saul Goodman here your favorite lawyer and deal maker giving you the lowdown on Boeing's latest gig. Ninety six BILLION dollars you say? That's real money! Seems like Boeing finally found their 'Better Call Saul' moment. Apparently they struck a deal with Qatar Airways for up to 210 aircraft. That’s a lotta metal in the sky. I tell ya numbers like that they make a lawyer feel… *ahem*… invigorated!

Trump Card: The Art of the Deal Aircraft Edition

And who's smack dab in the middle of this? The man himself Donald Trump shaking hands and sealing deals. The White House is touting this as Boeing's 'largest ever widebody order and largest ever 787 order.' Sounds like someone's been watching my negotiating tactics. Remember folks it’s not about the plane it’s about the *perception* of the plane. Always leave 'em wanting more!

More Jobs Than You Can Shake a Stick At

Hold on to your hats folks! According to the White House this deal is gonna support 154,000 U.S. jobs annually and over 1 million total domestic jobs over the course of production and delivery. Now I'm no economist but even I can see that's a whole lotta jobs! 'Slippin' Jimmy' McGill would've killed for numbers like these back in Cicero. Now if only I could get that many clients…

Boeing's Back Baby!

Now here’s the real kicker. Boeing hasn’t turned a profit since 2018! Yikes! They’ve been having more problems than a chihuahua at a cat convention. Safety concerns manufacturing defects you name it they got it. They were practically circling the drain. This deal could be their Hail Mary pass. Like I always say “If you’re committed enough you can make any story work.” And this my friends is a comeback story in the making!

Trade Wars? More Like Trade 'Whatever'

Of course we can't forget the elephant in the room: that good ol' trade war. China wasn't exactly thrilled about taking Boeing's planes due to U.S. tariffs. It’s like trying to sell ice to Eskimos am I right? But Boeing's CEO Kelly Ortberg says they’re narrowing their losses and have a backlog worth over $500 billion. Not bad for a company that was seemingly on its last flight!

Better Call Saul: Aviation Edition

So there you have it folks. Boeing's soaring high (literally and figuratively) with this massive deal. And who knows? Maybe one day when they need someone to handle the *really* tricky stuff they'll finally understand why it's...Better Call Saul! After all I once talked a guy down from a bridge using nothing but my charm and a coupon for Los Pollos Hermanos. What's a few hundred airplanes eh?

If Saul was Boeing's lawyer, those planes would have gold toilets!
