The Mad King's Decree

By Odin's beard! It seems the chieftain of the land called 'America,' this Trump fellow has grown restless. Like a bear poked with a stick he roars at a land called Iran demanding their 'unconditional surrender!' He claims to know where their leader this Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is hiding. Hiding you say? A true leader faces his enemies on the battlefield not cowering in fear. But perhaps this Khamenei is no Ragnar Lothbrok. 'Power is always dangerous. It attracts the worst and corrupts the best,' as I once told my sons. This Trump does he seek power or peace? Only time and perhaps a few well aimed axes will tell.

Shiny Toys and Empty Threats?

Trump boasts of 'total control' over Iran's airspace claiming their 'sky trackers' are no match for American 'stuff.' 'Nobody does it better than the good ol' USA,' he crows. Such arrogance! Remember brothers 'Never trust your fears Ragnar. Confront them and you will see they are not so frightening as you think.' But is this bravado just a shield? He speaks of military strikes of moving warships and carriers yet also vetoed an assassination plan. Is he a warrior or a coward? Perhaps he is simply playing the game as I once did against King Aelle.

Israel's Dance with Fire

The land of Israel it seems is also eager for a fight launching 'preemptive strikes' and exchanging missile fire with Iran. Like two wolves snapping at each other they risk dragging the entire world into their squabble. Trump claims America isn't directly involved but his actions speak louder than his words. He backs Israel's efforts threatens Iran and seems ready to unleash the dogs of war. 'Sometimes war is like a storm. It seems to come from nowhere.' And this storm is brewing fast.

The Cost of War: Gold and Blood

These squabbles always come at a price. The markets in America tremble the value of their 'stocks' plummet and the cost of 'crude oil' soars. For every war someone profits and many suffer. Remember my sons 'A warrior may choose his fate but he does not decide his destiny.' This conflict could change the destiny of many and not for the better.

Macron's Plea for Peace – A Laughable Notion?

This French chieftain Macron suggests a ceasefire. 'Publicity seeking,' Trump calls him denying any interest in peace. Such are the games of kings! But perhaps Macron sees what Trump does not: that war is a fool's errand a costly and bloody affair that benefits no one in the end. 'Life is all about risks,' I always say. But some risks are simply not worth taking.

Stay Tuned… or Prepare for Ragnarok?

So the stage is set. Trump threatens Iran bristles Israel dances with fire and the world watches with bated breath. Will there be war? Will there be peace? Only the gods know for sure. But one thing is certain: this is a story worth following. For as I learned long ago 'There is no need for gods Ragnar. We are our own gods. We make our own choices.' And the choices these leaders make now will determine the fate of us all.
