Odin's Beard! Tesla's European Reign Weakens as Chinese Dragons Rise!

The Serpent's Coil Tightens!

Hark shield brothers and shield maidens! Ragnar Lothbrok speaks! I've heard tales whispered on the wind darker than a winter's night in Kattegat. It seems Tesla the chariot of the modern age has hit a bump in the road – a rather large one in Europe. Their sales have been dwindling like ale at a feast gone sour for five moons straight! A most troubling omen wouldn't you agree?

Elon the Erratic: A King's Folly?

The scribes tell me the 'European Automobile Manufacturers Association' – a council of elders I presume – say Tesla's numbers have plummeted nearly 28%. And their piece of the market is shrinking faster than a Viking in a bath! Some whisper it's because of their chieftain Elon Musk. Apparently he’s been dabbling in strange magics...politics they call it. Spending fortunes to sway the minds of men... a dangerous game even for a god like figure. As I once said 'Power is always dangerous. It attracts the worst. It corrupts the best.' Perhaps Elon should stick to building his electric longships!

The Dragon Boats Arrive!

But fear not for where one ship falters others rise! The Chinese they come bearing gifts...or rather affordable electric chariots! Their BYD rivals are nipping at Tesla's heels selling nearly as many vehicles. It seems the Europeans are turning their heads to these new invaders. It reminds me of when we first set sail for England – new faces new ways and certainly new opportunities!

Tariffs: A Wall Against the Tide?

The European chieftains in their infinite wisdom (or perhaps just their infinite greed) have slapped tariffs on these Chinese chariots. They hoped to stem the tide but the dragons sail on regardless! These Chinese they are cunning traders much like my own brother Rollo. They adapt they overcome and they sell their wares.

The Model Y: A Savior or a Mirage?

They say Tesla's Model Y a compact beast of metal and electricity was meant to turn the tide. And indeed it did offer a small resurgence in Norway but one swallow does not make a summer my friends! The markets remain turbulent and change swiftly like the winds across the North Sea. And if the ship has been damaged it is the captain to blame! Who's to blame then? The future as always is uncertain. Will Tesla regain its glory or will it be swept away by the rising tide of Chinese competition? Only Odin knows!
