A Viking's Eye on the Indian Tide
Hmph India's stock market you say? Like a serpent it seems to have shed its old skin. They say it's found its 'mojo'. This Nifty 50 like my longship took a beating but now rises again. Ten percent they boast! A good raid yields more but I suppose it's a start. Remember even a king must sometimes retreat to fight another day. "How little they know of the storms I have weathered." The question is will this tide carry them to new lands or will the rocks of reality smash their hull?
The Shadow of Trump's Tariffs
This Donald Trump with his tariffs sounds like a king obsessed with counting coins instead of conquering lands. 'Trade tensions' they call it. In my day we called it war... a far more honest affair. The Indians claim their pain started before this Trump fellow blaming their own greed for high valuations. Greed like the serpent in the garden always finds a way in. But now these Indians rallied back from the shadows are they ready for Valhalla?
Local Warriors vs. Foreign Raiders
Ah the Indians rely on their own now! Domestic investors like shieldmaidens defending their village push back against foreign withdrawals. Three billion in April they say! A decent war chest but is it enough to hold off the storm? Vinod Karki this wise man says they buy their own 'domestic driven stocks'. Clever lads relying on themselves. This war is not won on somebody else's strength but our own. "Life is a struggle but not a mystery."
Green Shoots in the Economic Fields
Even in the frozen north we looked for signs of spring. Here they see 'green shoots' in mining and chemicals. Profits 'bottoming out' fewer complaints from analysts. These analysts they are like the gods always predicting doom only to be proven wrong. Seems the Indians are planning for surprises. We will soon meet in the battlefield and see whose strategy is better mine or theirs.
Modi Vance and the Dance of Deals
Modi this Indian leader meets with Vance a man from the land across the sea. They speak of 'significant progress' in trade and defense. A dance of deals like the shifting alliances of kings. And the finance minister speaks of agreements 'by the fall'. Promises promises. Like the whispers of Loki can you truly trust them? Only time and the clash of steel will reveal the truth.
Tesla's Voyage to India: A King's Ransom?
Tesla a name that sounds like thunder! This company seeks to conquer India with its electric chariots. But beware the tariffs! Seventy percent they cry! A king's ransom! Makes these chariots 'twice as expensive'. Perhaps they should offer them to the gods as tribute first. India may prove a 'hard market' they say. Let them remember the gods favor the bold but punish the foolish. And to all investors 'Fear not for I have come to protect you!'
