The Spark of Rebellion: Just Like My Turkey!

Right so this Samantha Mui a bit of a… well you could say she's got a mind of her own like when I tried to cook a turkey in my apartment and ended up wearing it. School? Hated it! But cooking? Oh she loved it sneaking off to watch those telly chefs while pretending to be poorly. "Tinker," she says. Sounds like what I do when Teddy loses a button! Then she'd clean it up bit like when I tried to paint my room with fireworks. Classic.

ESL Escapades and Existential Angst!

Now here's a thing – they put her in an ESL class even though she spoke better English than Mrs. Wicket after a sherry. 'Not smart,' she thought. Rubbish! I once thought I wasn't smart enough to parallel park… then I used a sofa. She realised she had to do things 'her way,' a sentiment I quite understand especially when it comes to traffic lights.

Dumpling Destiny: A Bean's Vision!

Skip ahead a few years and she’s ditching the fighting and embracing her talents. Makes sense a bit like when I finally embraced my talent for… well making people laugh even when they shouldn't. Now she's got this 'Melting Pot' cookbook and a do it yourself dumpling startup called Thirsty Dumpling. Thirsty Dumpling! Sounds like Teddy after a long day of… well sitting. Apparently it makes about $20,000 a month! I could buy a lot of baked beans with that!

Dropout Drama and Delicious Discoveries!

So she tries this college thing hates it and feels lost. Like me trying to find my way to the post office. Culinary school though? Suddenly she's top of the class! 'Aha you're not stupid,' she realised. Exactly! I'm not stupid just… creatively challenged in certain situations. Like when I tried to build a shelf with custard.

Corporate Catastrophe and a Calling!

She gets a degree a master's even! Works in offices but finds herself unhappy like me when Mrs. Wicket makes sprouts for tea. 'Something inside wanted to do something else,' she said. That 'something' was probably dumplings! (Or maybe a nap. Naps are good.) A bit like when I realised my something inside wanted to drive a Mini with a armchair on top.

The Dumpling Dynasty: Bean's Business Brainwave!

Then her dad passes away she has a moment of clarity and BAM! Dumpling making kits! Inspired by her mum! Apparently she invested a bunch of money and now runs the whole shebang from Chicago. She's happy! Like me when I find a penny! And she says 'focus on your strengths.' Good advice! My strengths are… well let's just say I have strengths. Now I'm thinking about selling dumpling making kits myself maybe using Teddy as the mascot? I'd name them 'Bean's Brilliant Buns!' What a great Idea!
