Waking up and ... Disaster!
Right so I woke up this morning had a cup of tea (milk sugar... the usual) and went to check my investments... and oh dear! It seems like Apple the company that makes those shiny phones everyone loves has had a bit of a tumble! A 23% tumble to be precise! A disaster just like when Teddy gets stuck down the drain!
Microsoft Steals the Show!
And guess who’s laughing all the way to the bank? Microsoft! Yes the company that brought you Windows (and all those helpful error messages) is now the world's most valuable company. Apparently all those numbers and figures add up to 2.64 trillion dollars! Much more than the spare change I find down the back of the sofa.
Tariffs? More Like Terrifying!
Now apparently this 'tariff' thing is to blame. President Trump is slapping these tariffs on everyone and their aunt and it’s caused a right ruckus. It's worse than when Mrs. Wicket finds out I've been 'redecorating' again! All this tariff talk makes me nervous. If they put tariffs on marmalade I don't know what I'd do!
iPhone Oh No!
It seems Apple is extra sad because they rely on China like Teddy relies on me to dress him. The iPhone 16 Pro Max? They're saying the price could jump up to $350! That's more than I spend on baked beans in a year! I'll stick with my rotary phone thank you very much.
Recession? Panic Time!
All this talk of recession! It's enough to make a grown man hide under his duvet with a tin of biscuits! Rising prices stock market crashes... it's a right pickle! It's like trying to parallel park my Mini in a space the size of a postage stamp. Impossible!
Insulated Like My Mini!
Apparently some clever people think Microsoft is 'more insulated' whatever that means. Perhaps it's like my Mini; it's small and sturdy and can squeeze through any situation. Anyway let's hope things get better soon. I wouldn't want to have to sell Teddy to make ends meet! *nervous chuckle*
