Leapmotor the little EV company that could is teaming up with Hongqi the granddaddy of Chinese cars! It's like David and Goliath but instead of a slingshot they've got electric motors! I'm telling you this is bigger than my stunt budget!

From Commies to Cool Cars?

Hongqi which means Red Flag used to make cars for how you say important people in China. Now they wanna go global! And they’re using Leapmotor's tech to do it. It's like taking kung fu from a shaolin monk to Hollywood! They get the platform Hongqi gets to make it look fancy. It's all about teamwork! Remember 'No matter how difficult the training is you never give up.' That’s what I tell myself before every movie…and after a particularly spicy bowl of mapo tofu.

Leapmotor's Secret Weapon

Leapmotor's got this super cool EV platform like a skateboard but for cars. It’s so good even Ferrari came sniffing around! But Leapmotor played it cool. Remember 'Sometimes it takes a while to find the right partner.' They're already working with Stellantis. It’s like they're building their own Avengers team of automakers! Pow! Pow! Pow!

Red Flag Flying High

So what’s the plan? They're gonna build a new Hongqi SUV sharing the same base as Leapmotor’s B10. It will look like Hongqi but underneath it's all Leapmotor magic. It’s like putting a tuxedo on a ninja! They want to sell it everywhere – Europe Australia even maybe America! It's time to show the world what Chinese cars can do. And remember ‘I only want my work to make people happy.’ And drive electric of course!

Magic Touch of Giles Taylor

Hongqi hired this guy Giles Taylor used to design Rolls Royces to make sure the new car looks the part. He says 'I've got no problem taking the powertrain but we apply a magic on top.' That's right! It’s like taking my stunts and adding a little…sparkle! Taylor is basically saying he will add the face so the body is of Leapmotor but the face is that of Hongqi how awesome is that!

Drunken Master Plan for Global Domination

So there you have it! Leapmotor and Hongqi teaming up to take over the world one electric car at a time. It’s gonna be a wild ride full of twists and turns. But just like in my movies we will get there in the end with a lot of fun. I can not wait to see what magic they pull out of the box. But also to try this new car myself. Jackie Chan out!
