Is This a Joke? Affordable Summer Travel?

Right so I hear there are still deals to be had for summer travel? Bloody hell usually by now you're paying through the nose for a flight to anywhere vaguely resembling paradise. Katy Nastro from Going is saying it's like finding a diamond in the rough to get a good July deal… but this year? Apparently it's raining diamonds. A perfect storm she calls it. Economic uncertainty more flights cheaper fuel. Sounds like a bloody miracle to me!

Flexibility: The Secret Ingredient

Flexibility you donut! That's the key. If you're willing to go where the wind takes you and when the flights are cheap you're in for a treat. August is apparently the sweet spot if you haven't booked yet. So stop being a panini head and get your act together!

Calgary: Canada's Hidden Gem? (Donkey)

First up Calgary! Canada? Seriously? Apparently inbound travel is down so fares are cheap. Perfect for a trip to Lake Louise they say. Average deal around $258 roundtrip some as low as $142. Listen I'm not saying it's going to be Michelin star dining but it's a damn sight better than staying at home watching the telly like a lazy sod!

São Paulo: Spice Up Your Life

Next São Paulo Brazil! Now we're talking. Southern hemisphere less humidity and your dollar goes further. Deals from big cities around $355. Just don't go ordering a well done steak or I'll have your hide! The dollar goes pretty far there so you're less likely to end up in the poor house.

Dublin: A Pint and a Plane Ticket

Dublin Ireland! Not the cheapest city but affordable to get there. Flights from major cities in the high $300s to $400s. A great starting point to explore the landscape. More routes so it's not just luck of the Irish. But please for the love of God learn how to pour a proper pint before you go!

San José del Cabo & New England You numpty!

San José del Cabo Mexico. Coastal city refreshing water even on the hottest days. Average deal around $354 roundtrip. And last but not least New England! Pebbly beaches mountains lakes. Average deal around $149 roundtrip. Look if you're still sitting there scratching your arse you're going to miss out. Get booking you lazy git! And don't forget flexibility is key. Now where's my bloody Negroni?
