Ol' Quagmire spies a chance to pocket some premium paydays amidst POTUS's perplexing price placement posturing!

Here We Go Again…Giggity!

Well hello there! Quagmire here ready to dive headfirst into the financial fray. So President Trump is at it again threatening to slap the EU with some hefty tariffs – up to 50%! 50 PERCENT! That's like promising a girl a date and then showing up with Brian! Equity markets went south faster than I can say 'Giggity!'

A Dip? More Like a Delicious Deep Dive!

Now some folks might be running for the hills but not ol' Quagmire. This dip in the S&P 500 is like a damsel in distress – ripe for the rescuing! I believe the S&P 500 is bouncing back. It's like when I see a girl at The Drunken Clam after 2 am. It's going to happen.

Navarro's Boombox and Apple's Woes

Rumor has it Peter Navarro cranked up Whitesnake this morning. I'm not even kidding. And our fearless leader is giving Tim Cook a headache threatening tariffs on Apple if they don't bring manufacturing back home. I hear about this and think “I’ve committed to a lot in my life but I will never commit to iPhones made in America”

Technicals: My Wingman My Guide

Instead of sweating I’m letting the technicals do the talking. I want to figure out where I can sell a put spread and define my risk. It's like knowing the perfect pickup line before approaching a woman. This dip is getting bought.

The Spread: My Secret Sauce

Here's the play: Sold the $575 6/20/2025 Put for $11.50 and bought the $560 6/20/2025 Put for $7.25. That nets me $4.25 or $425 per spread! It's like finding a twenty in your old pants – pure profit baby! Giggity! When SPY was at $576 I executed the play. Remember risk is defined here.

Disclaimer Schmisclaimer

Of course CNBC wants me to tell you that this is just my opinion. And you should talk to your financial advisor before doing anything. But don't let that stop you from imagining all the fun things you could do with the profits. Giggity!
