Life is Like a Box of Chocolates...and Car Stocks?

Mama always said life is like a box of chocolates you never know what you're gonna get. Well I might not know 'bout chocolates but I sure do know about runnin'! And lately watchin' these car companies is kinda like a run sometimes they go up sometimes they go down sometimes you just wanna sit down on a bench and wait for Jenny.

President Trump's Got Something to Say!

So President Trump he was talkin' to some fella from El Salvador Nayib Bukele in the Oval Office which sounds fancy! And he said he was lookin' to 'help some of the car companies.' Said they need a little bit of time to move their production to the U.S. Sounds like he's tryin' to give 'em a leg up like when I helped Bubba climb that tree for the shrimp.

Run Forrest Run! To the Stock Market!

Well wouldn't you know it? The stocks went up! Ford General Motors and Stellantis they were all smilin' like Lieutenant Dan after he found Jesus. Rivian was doin' alright too but Tesla well they were lookin' a little sad like when Jenny left me on that bus stop bench. Life is funny sometimes ain't it?

Tariffs Tariffs Everywhere!

Seems like President Trump put some tariffs like taxes on imported cars a while back. Said it was to help folks here in America. He gave some companies like Apple a break but these car tariffs are stickin' around. It's like when I tried to give Bubba my shrimpin' money but he wouldn't take it. Sometimes people just do things their own way.

Different Strokes for Different Folks!

Now these car companies are dealin' with these tariffs in different ways. Ford and Stellantis bein' mostly American they're givin' employees some deals. But Jaguar Land Rover they stopped sendin' cars here! And Hyundai they said they ain't raisin' prices. It's like when Bubba wanted shrimp every which way and I just liked mine plain. Everyone's got their own shrimp you know?

So that's the news 'bout the car companies. Seems like things are changin' all the time just like the weather in Vietnam. But like Mama always said 'Put the past behind you before you can move on.'
