Of Course There's A Problem!

What's up doc? Bugs Bunny here reporting live from my rabbit hole which by the way is *totally* made in the U.S. of A! Seems our pal Donald he's gone and declared war...on *movies*! Yep you heard right. Word on the street (or should I say in the burrow) is he's slapping a 100% tariff on flicks made outside the good ol' US of A. Says Hollywood is dyin' a 'very fast death.' Oh the drama!

National Security? Seriously?

Now hold on to your carrots folks! He's callin' this a 'National Security threat!' A *movie*? I've seen Elmer Fudd pose more of a threat with that blunderbuss of his. Apparently those sneaky foreign films are 'messaging and propaganda.' I always knew those cartoons from overseas were up to something… besides being well cartoons!

Lutnick's On It!

So the big cheese has spoken. And Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick chirped back on X (formerly Twitter for you young whippersnappers) 'We're on it.' On *what* exactly? Figuring out how to charge us double to watch a French film? I'd rather be chased by Yosemite Sam that's for sure!

Confusion Reigns Supreme

The real gag is nobody knows how this tariff's gonna work. Will it affect streaming services? What about those fancy theaters? Will they charge based on how much the movie cost or how many folks paid to see it? It's all a big 'ol mystery folks like tryin' to figure out why Daffy Duck is always so jealous. Despicable I say absolutely despicable!

Hollywood's Headaches

Now Hollywood's in a tizzy. They're scratchin' their heads like I do when I'm figuring out how to outsmart Elmer. Trump's even got Jon Voight Sylvester Stallone and Mel Gibson tryin' to 'bring Hollywood back bigger better and stronger.' Sounds like a superhero movie... or a really bad remake. All this because studios are movin' production to places with better tax breaks. Who can blame 'em?

International Incident Eh?

And don't think our pals in Australia and New Zealand are thrilled. They're ready to fight for their film industries too! After all some of those Marvel movies and that little thing called 'The Lord of the Rings' were shot there. This whole thing's about to turn into a global carrot flinging contest! As for me? I'll stick to watchin' what I want where I want thank you very much. Ain't I a stinker?
