Of course naturally it seems those fellas in Washington D.C. are makin' a lot of noise about tariffs and taxes see? But like I always say "This looks like a job for a psychiatrist!" Apparently the stock market's gettin' wise to their shenanigans. Barclays says those tariff threats and tax talk? *Pfft!* Soon to be yesterday's news! "What's up Doc?" you ask? The market's gettin' ready to tune it all out. Like magic poof!

Hello AI Goodbye Drama!

Instead of worryin' about all that political mumbo jumbo traders are gonna start payin' attention to real stuff! Y'know like them fancy macro economic numbers and the chance that Artificial Intelligence is gonna stuff them corporate coffers. "Of course you realize this means war!" but a war for profits of course! I mean who needs to listen to politicians when you got robots makin' money? Smart move if you ask me. And you did didn't you?

Inflation? Just a Hop Skip and a Jump!

Now this Barclays fella Ajay Rajadhyaksha – sounds important don't it? He thinks them tariffs might sting the world economy a little later this year. But don't get your fluffy tail in a twist! He reckons the U.S. can dodge a recession. Inflation might hop up a bit over 3% which means the Federal Reserve might just sit on their hands for a while. "Ain't I a stinker?" I mean ain't that somethin'?

Tax Bill Tango: A Slow Dance

That tax bill? Rajadhyaksha don't think it'll pass Congress before July 4th. But he's bettin' they'll get it done before they all run off on their summer vacations in August. And it'll probably look a lot like the House's version. "I knew I shoulda taken that left turn at Albuquerque!" Because politics is always a bit of a zig zag am I right?

After a bit of a bumpy ride the S&P 500 is climbin' higher than Yosemite Sam's temper! It's almost back to record highs as we get near the end of the first half of the year. Up more than 4% in 2025 no less! "Of course you realize this means war!" ...with bears tryin' to keep the bulls down! "Eh what's up Doc?" looks like nothin' can stop that index!
