Yeah Baby! Newsom's Got Some Mojo!

Alright alright alright! Austin Powers here reporting live from the front lines of... well California baby! Seems our groovy Governor Gavin Newsom has decided to unleash his mojo on Fox News. A lawsuit you say? For a whopping $787 million? Oh behave! It appears the Gov believes they've been spreading fibs faster than I can say 'Shagadelic!' over a phone call with none other than the former POTUS Donald Trump.

Austin Powers Reporting Live!

This whole kerfuffle started when Fox News anchor Jesse Watters claimed Newsom was pulling a fast one about this supposed phone call in early June with Trump. The lawsuit alleges that Fox News was “motivated to lie and distort on behalf of the President.” Talk about a bad romance baby! And the amount he's suing for just so happens to match the Dominion Voting Systems settlement. Coincidence? I think not!

Is That Your Mojo Baby? Or Just Bad Journalism?

Now Newsom's legal eagles are saying 'If Fox News retracts their claim that he lied and gives a formal on air apology from Watters he'll voluntarily dismiss the suit.' Basically Newsom's saying 'Put up or shut up baby!' He believes the American people deserve to trust their news outlets which let's be honest is fair enough. I mean who wants to get their news from Dr. Evil’s propaganda machine?

Foxy News? Or Just Foxy?

Fox News never one to back down from a fight is calling Newsom's lawsuit a 'transparent publicity stunt' designed to 'chill free speech.' Chill free speech? Sounds like something Dr. Evil would cook up baby! They claim they'll defend themselves vigorously and expect the case to be dismissed. We shall see baby we shall see!

The Phone Call: A Groovy Mystery?

So what's the deal with this mysterious phone call? Apparently Newsom and Trump chatted for about 16 minutes. Newsom wanted to talk about the protests in Los Angeles but Trump allegedly steered the conversation away. Trump later claimed he told Newsom he was doing a 'bad job,' but Newsom denied the call even happened that day. Confusing innit? As confusing as a FemBot in disguise baby!

Smell That? It Smells Like...Justice!

In the end baby this whole thing smells like a big ol' plate of legal shebang. Whether it's a genuine fight for truth or just a publicity stunt one thing's for sure: it's definitely...interesting! I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for any updates baby. Austin Powers signing off and remember...stay groovy!
