Bloody Hell They're Up!

Right so Burberry's shares took a jump. A bloody 16% rise they tell me. Seems they didn't do as badly as the bloody analysts predicted. Bunch of blokes sitting in offices guessing at numbers. Reminds me of betting on the horses. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. But we always have a plan don't we? As I told Alfie Solomons once 'Everyone's a whore Grace. We just sell different parts of ourselves.' Even Burberry it seems.

Asia's a Bit Off America's Got the Taste

Sales are down a touch in Asia apparently. Europe too. But those Yanks they're spending like there's no tomorrow. Makes you think doesn't it? While some are tightening their belts others are loosening their purse strings. But what do they know about war eh? What do they know about true profit? As I always say 'Whisky's good proofing water. Tells you who's real and who isn't.'

This Schulman fella the CEO says he's 'encouraged.' Says there's 'much to do.' Sounds like he's got a bit of steel in him. Like when I told Polly 'Already broken.' Some of these businessmen are alright I suppose. Trying to 'reignite brand desire' he says. We reignite desires in different ways eh? With a bit of fear a bit of respect and a whole lot of cunning.

No Timeframe? That's Where We Differ

No timeframe for the turnaround they say. Balderdash. Everything's got a timeframe. Tick tock tick tock. Time's the only thing we can't buy. 'When you plan something well,' as I say 'there's no need to rush.' But no plan at all? That's just asking for trouble.

They're blaming Trump and crypto gains for the boost in sales. Now that's a laugh. Politics and digital fairy dust. Here at the Shelby Company we control our own destiny.
