He's backing oil gas and coal like they're his own family while chucking solar and wind power to the dogs. Says he doesn't want 'windmills destroying our place.' Sounds like someone's been at the opium again. Makes you wonder if he has skeletons in his closet? Everyone does. 'Everyone's a WHORE Grace. We just sell different parts of ourselves.' This smells like a deal with the devil and I know a thing or two about those.

Drilling Deep: Profits Over Progress

The bill opens up federal lands and waters for drilling slashing royalties for the big boys. More oil more gas more money lining their pockets. As Mike Sommers president of the American Petroleum Institute said it includes almost all of their priorities. They are dancing in the streets I tell you. A Carbon Capture tax credit will be offered to oil companies in order to produce more crude oil so a tax credit to pollute more eh? The coal industry is also a big winner from the law which mandates at least 4 million additional acres of federal land be made available for mining. Well they've certainly put on a few new coats of paint haven't they?

So they're phasing out tax credits for wind and solar. The ones that helped them grow in the first place. The Inflation Reduction Act extended this life until 2032. After 2027 they are gone! Like a Birmingham back alley deal gone wrong. According to CEO of the Solar Energy Industries Association Abigail Ross Hopper this legislation undermines the very foundation of America's manufacturing comeback and global energy leadership. 'Already broken' more like.

China's Laughing: A Strategic Blunder?

There's a related tax credit for using American made components. Designed to break the dependence on China. But that's ending too. Michael Carr executive director of the Solar Energy Manufacturers Association stated that if nothing changes factories start to close. Factories are on the drawing board that probably penciled [favorably] two weeks ago maybe don't pencil now. We'll see investment slow down in the sector going forward.
