What in the Jungle Is Going On?
Greetings fleshy ones! Your primitive news feeds buzz with tales of economic woe. Apparently this 'Trump' and his tribe are imposing... 'tariffs.' *Chuckles in Predator*. It seems these shiny trinkets and complex transactions you value so much are about to become... more difficult to acquire. I've seen empires rise and fall civilizations crumble. This petty squabble over currency and resources? Child's play. But amusing nonetheless. 'If it bleeds we can kill it.' And this market? It's bleeding alright.
Lutnick Speaks! A Worthy Trophy?
This 'Lutnick,' the so called 'Commerce Secretary,' speaks of steadfast resolve. 'The tariffs are coming,' he bellows. Reminds me of those brave but doomed warriors who face me head on screaming defiance. A good challenge perhaps. But will his resolve last when the real heat is on? I've seen tougher resolve break under the pressure of a plasma caster. Still the thrill of the hunt is in the challenge not the certainty of victory. 'No time to play games.'
No Postponing! Seriously?
Apparently there will be 'no postponing.' Such certainty! Such... human hubris! Do they not understand the universe is chaos? Even my hunts are subject to unpredictable variables. But these humans... they cling to their schedules and deadlines like a drowning man to a flimsy raft. I'll give them points for ambition. But ambition without flexibility is a recipe for disaster. Just like that Dutch fellow from the jungle. So confident... until he wasn't.
Resetting Global Trade: A Fool's Errand?
This 'Trump' seeks to 'reset global trade.' *Hisses with laughter*. As if such a thing were possible! Trade like hunting is a primal instinct. It flows it ebbs it adapts. To think one can simply 'reset' it is... adorable. Like trying to tell the jungle where to grow. I applaud the effort though. Keeps things interesting. 'One ugly mother...' But hey at least he's trying!
Billions Lost! Pity or Amusement?
$7.46 billion... gone. Erased. Vanished into the ether. Such a large number yet meaningless. The jungle provides all that is needed. Food shelter the thrill of the hunt. These humans they chase these arbitrary numbers building empires on promises and speculation. They fight amongst themselves with stocks instead of spears. Are you not entertained? Are you not amused?
Holding the Course! Brave or Foolish?
And this 'Bessent' echoes the sentiment. 'We're going to hold the course.' Admirable perhaps. Or perhaps just stubborn. Time will tell. As I observe this economic struggle I can't help but wonder: will they learn from this? Will they adapt? Or will they simply repeat the same mistakes generation after generation until their civilization crumbles under its own weight? Only the hunt will reveal the answer. And I for one will be watching. *Clicking sounds*... The hunt is on!

This is going to hurt the middle class the most. As usual.
